Regarding the design, I feel sharper edges would have looked better. And I'd prefer the back to be like that found in the 9700.

dude, 03 Aug 2010you know, just because you don't like blackberry doesn't mean everyone doesn't like blackberry... moreI strongly agree with you.I think BB design is awesome.It does look more like a cellphone than any other and they look elegant too.I think BB should also capitalize on this and make more elegant models plus their new OS.

I presume it is capacitive touch screen. What i think going to be a deterrent in this ANDROID and BADA era is its price. BB is known for premium pricing and if this is the case here it would not work because if galaxy s can give you 4 inch screen with better features for 28000/- who would go for BB at same or higher price point.

Ok guys,I realise that compared to the nexus one, iphone4 and galaxy s, the torch's specs dont really match up. But would you guys be able to give me your opinion on whats better and why:Blackberry torch, iphone 3gs, or Motorola Milestone(not the xt720)

Stylus are stuff from the past. but why would you want an stylus when applications slide up/down/left/right and the icons became bigger so you could press them with your fingers easily. Stylus are anoying because you need to take them in/out and they take space from the phone. (Not worth it).

Why do you need that when it is a touch screen device? Duh.....
3G at 384 kbps is too sloooow....
The Bold 9700 has 3.6Mps.

The 3g speed seems to be much slower than the current BB models e.g Bold 9700 and Pearl 9100 which have 3.5 Mbps.. wonder why?
