sonia, 26 Oct 2011is there much difference between bb torch 9800 and 9810. if yes then wat is it... i am plannin... morevery few differences, first off screen resolution increased slightly {from 360 x 480 pixels, 3.2 inches (~188 ppi pixel density) to 480 x 640 pixels, 3.2 inches (~250 ppi pixel density)}, secondly internal memory increased, (from 4GB to 8GB), thirdly the cpu processing speed doubled (from 624 MHz processor to 1.2 GHz processor) and finally battery life is changed slightly(standby time decreased from 432h to 308h, talk time increased from 5h 30m to 6h 30m, and music time increased from 30h to 54h). That about sums up the changes. P.S. these changes are all from the 9800 to the 9810...

i love everything about 9800, it is a smart fone, but one of the features they forgot is video call. i miss making calls using video call

TRS, 22 Oct 2011Cld any1 tell me if applications like google voice chat, skype, etc.. works good on this phone??? Not sure about the other stuff, but Skype and video related things can lag because of the lower screen resolution and the processor.

I have got my blackberry torch 9800 and I think it is great phone to use on the telstra next g network I recommend it a lot great for business use

Oh what a beauty & definitely a smarty too! I've never been so happy & satisfied as I am with my 9800, I say jump & it asks me HOW HIGH!
I just wish there was a finger print reader for security purposes & a possible upgrade of the os6 to an os7 like the predecessor 9810, 9850 & 9860 & 9900. Any chance of an os upgrade for the 9800?

stephy, 13 Oct 2011Hi ppl I have da 9800 torch an its a realy gud phone but I'm scared that the slide will get da... moreIt's more personal choice because the slide on both Torch 9800 and 9810 are very well built and should be fine, I hate candy bar phones so I got the Torch and was glad I did.

AnonD-26047, 12 Oct 2011can anybody tell me how's the app store for blackberry? i really like this phone.There are some good apps but if you are into apps you should skip Blackberry and get either an Android or iphone. Blackberry doesn't have nearly as much.
