I have enter my own MEP code and I have exhausted the entire trial/attempts. i.e At the prompt or when switched ON, I'll receive enter MEP Netowrk Code (0 left). I was told its hardware locked & no solution for this kind of unlocking at present.
I think BB/RIM need to remove this from her future release as there are lots of users who bought there phones legitimately and as such encountered this error/issues. Even though caused by human error but also its indeed painful.

Anonymous, 20 Jun 2011why am i unable to use this phone on prepaid?? i believe if i am able to buy the phone outrigh... moreit is a newer phone and a smart phone they only put old smart phones on pre paid that people really dont but on a contract.
