[deleted post]My Italian is weak, so i hope you understand this. The battery is the same for both the 9800 and 9810. It does slightly better on the 9800 because the bigger processor and better resolution of the 9810 use slightly more power.
i wana purchase this new one, from where i can buy this piece in Pakistan
now i am using bb 9780 itz outclass
I just bought my first BB9810 for 31 grand.I was using samsung galaxy before on android.I am a big fan of BB and always wanted to own 1.Its the best phone for ppl who have a mix of personal and pro life.its contact management is unmatched with a quality battery life.Is slick and has a classy user interface.Android and iphones are for ppl who just wants to own one.I dont know why ppl ask for radio, front camera, and dont know wht else. These are something which yu r not going to use but thst waht yu just want to have useless. If you are looking for smart, business and good cell go for it.Otherwise just stick to radio phones based on android and apples which you cant eat.. :)\m/

Anonymous, 01 May 2012does turning 3G off and having edge run help the baterry life? The short answer, yes.
Hils Don, 29 Apr 2012Pls this question goes to all of you here but to our dear Thullraven, I am currently using bla... moreYou have to be careful as some of the 7.1 upgrades are buggy. I can't remember the first one I tried, but I had to go back to 7.0 as after that version of 7.1 upgrade my 9810 would not switch off of 4G, even if I was where there wasn't 4G. That was a major problem. I've since upgraded to a much better 7.1 upgrade. On my 9810 I'm running 7.1 Bundle 1149, version 18.104.22.1682. It seems very stable. On every version of 7.1 I can no longer manually switch between 2G and 3G/4G. However, on this version, my 9810 will switch on it's own in weaker signal areas like it is supposed to. I found out that my carrier(AT&T) disables the manual switching feature on the 7.1 upgrade. The 7.1 upgrade gives you a better battery life as it has a battery saver mode you can enable. It also has a diagnostic tool, emergency alerts, and the mobile hotspot feature. AT&T won't let me use the hotspot without a tethering plan (I tried). Some options will depend on your carrier. For example, my friend, who is on T-Mobile, upgraded to 7.1 and can still manually switch network modes as T-Mobile doesn't disable that feature like AT&T does. Other carriers will allow use of the hotspot without an additional charge. I think if you get the right version of 7.1, you'll like it and notice improvements all around. If you do give it a go, just make sure to back up everything first, just in case things go wrong. You can always go back to 7.0. I haven't noticed the FM Radio, but haven't really tried to find it. I do have Pandora and Slacker Radio. I don't use them, though. Hope this info helps.
Disappointment, 27 Apr 2012I renewed my contract February, and decided to go from a very basic Samsung (which I hated) to... moreI feel for you. BB OS isn't for everyone, especially new smartphone users. What I would do if I was in your situation is this. I would sell the BB on EBay or Amazon and use the money to buy a phone more to my liking. You should get some good money for the BB. I would also go to my carrier store and try out some phones to see which I would be comfortable using. Good Luck, hope this helps.
Pls this question goes to all of you here but to our dear Thullraven, I am currently using blackberry torch 9810 running on os 7.0 and am considering upgrading it to os7.1 and my question now is if you in your experience is advising me to go for the upgrade or stick with my os 7.0? What are the major and striking differences between the two os? Does os 7.1 truly come with FM radio?
Is there any app in blackberry 9810 with which we can download youtube videos?????????
And is there any difference between the 2g internet in a normal brand phone and in a blackberry. As the cost of internet is much higher for blackberry handsets plans rather than normal plans.
Salman Ummer, 26 Apr 2012Guyz, i m relly confused on these three models: 1) Blackberry Torch 9810 2) Blackberry Curve... moreIf u wanna enjoyed both 9360 n 9380 with a higher processor n RAM,also the builtin dual microphone give a better clear audio even if u r in noisy place. The large 3.2" display a the slide open Full QWERTY keypad gives u much more better n comfortable in operating the device.
lameeee!! no second camera..no radio still an expensive phone in its class..and yes no value for money..
9810 torch2 is the best very fast phone a booting up sending and receiveing email in a quick no iching very nice phone very nice camera
I renewed my contract February, and decided to go from a very basic Samsung (which I hated) to Blackberry. I had to choose between Samsung, and was convinced (by my son) to go Blackberry. Boy, am I regretting that decision. The camera is nice, the video camera is excellent (except the zoom does not work), but for the rest I wasted my money. Unfortunately, I am stuck with it for 2 years. Never again, Blackberry. I find your software difficult to navigate, online support nonexistent, customer focus nonexistant. I even miss my (unloved) Samsung. The only reason I am not putting my simcard back in the Samsung is that it seems a waste to pay for features that are not usable with the Samsung. Boy, did I make a mistake not to go Nokia!!
