Have my 9810 4 months now; works great until last week. Problem is, the phone lags/delays for approximately 5 seconds when opening an app, or using an app. Anyone has any idea why this is happening? Thanks
Nicholas, 11 Mar 2012Found this in the comment, is it true? Sad blackberry os. I though blackberry os is good ... moreDon't know what you're talking about. I have multiple emails set up on my Torch, including a Hotmail email account. You can have ANY email pushed. Also, I've owned and used Àndroid and iphone. Both are good and bad. Android is fun but has more holes in their security than Swiss Cheese. Just sold my Android on EBay. The iPhone is fine if you don't mind being bound to iTunes and not being able to put media purchased thru itunes onto other devices. You know, things you PAID FOR but Apple won't let you use on non Apple devices. Not Cool.
hi i have a 9810 but only problem bater is not laasting half day only of use
Nicholas, 11 Mar 2012Found this in the comment, is it true? Sad blackberry os. I though blackberry os is good ... moreI wonder why all these things are giving you so much concern. Maybe people dont talk about all the trash you just mentioned simply because they have no need for them. Or is it their fault that they dont need what you need? If android and iphones are better for you, why not stick to them and leave us the hell alone. And for your information in my country, Blackberry subscription is far much cheaper than any other data plan for other phones you can ever imagine.

Sad blackberry os. I though blackberry os is good for business but its actually not. Famous on email? Not at all!
I have more than 5000 emails in my hotmail, and there is not option for me to set up a microsoft exchange hotmail account with this 9790. I need 5000 of this emails to be sync everyday with a push mail functionality like my s2 and iphone 4.
Blackberry famous in push mail? What a joke, my iphone and android phone can push my mail easily with a microsoft exchange account, you can set any email like yahoo, gmail, hotmail etc with microsoft exchange.
Dont ask why i need all of my mails to be in my phone, my emails is my data base, i store all my conversation and quotation in my email server and i can search it even in offline mode.
I am very surprise that none of the peoples who using blackberry have this problem. I even went to blackberry service center to ask this and they dont even have a solution for me.
Blackberry, push mail? Android and ios can do this easily. BBM? Whatsapp can do this perfectly. What else does blackberry offer? Nothing at all for me.
Blackberry is famous because its launch and telling consumer is a business phone at first, consumer thinking of a business phone is great but i want you all to know that you are wrong. Blackberry os is no way in comparing to android and ios not even the old symbian.
Dont try to be a follower that seeing other using blackberry and you want it too, you will just make your life difficult.
Try do a research in the web MICROSOFT EXCHANGE FOR HOTMAIL IN BLACKBERRY, you will get none of it.
Surprise that no one mention this to the community, means that you only need your daily current mail, how about you old emails for example year 2005 emails which are very important?
SHAME ON YOU BLACKBERRY. One more thing, blackberry needs additional charges in BIS AND BES to enjoy full functionality, not including a data usage. You have to pay extra to get what? BBM AND PUSH MAIL? Lol, i need a cheap data plan to get all of this done perfectly.
Good luck guys, think before you switch.
I have recently purchased the torch 9810 and my battery hasn't been lasting for long, is ther aniway to prevent this , and I dnt thnk its my wifi because it alwys off, plz help
rhythm, 20 Dec 2011bought the phn a couple o weeks ago....d form factor is fantastic...but theres a gigantic flaw... moreHave the 9850, sister phone to the 9810, and had a similar problem. A (I think) corrupted sound file in a game confused the audio processor and all sound quit until a battery pull. Game is now gone, and haven't had a sound problem since.
ILOVEYOUJF!!!!, 06 Mar 2012Hello All, I am a blackberry lover and I have my eye on the new Blackberry Torch 9810.... P... moreThere's plenty of info for you too read here and GSM Arena and PCMag both give a pretty accurate review IMHO. The encrytion security. Compressed data, and good signal strength are why I like my 9810. Also, all BB phones excel as business and Email phones. The other features, other OS like Android can do just as well or better. BB App World is getting better, but is waaaaay behind Apple and Android as far as sheer volume. Hope this helps.
sid, 02 Mar 2012DOES 9810 have GPS..?? Blackberry site says it doesnt. GSM arena specs say it does..?? whom to... moreAnswering your other question, it largely depends on form factor preference. I like the 9810 because I like the keyboard and touchscreen. The three you mentioned are sort of like the same phone in different form factors. I know the 9810 doesn't support NFC, but aside from form, that's the only major difference.
sid, 02 Mar 2012DOES 9810 have GPS..?? Blackberry site says it doesnt. GSM arena specs say it does..?? whom to... moreEvery modern smartphone that I've seen has some form of GPS, regardless of OS. I have a number of GPS and navigation apps that I can't recall which were there already and which I got from App World.
I am a blackberry lover and I have my eye on the new Blackberry Torch 9810.... Please send me your reviews and opinions with what you all think!!!!
I am using 2 phones Iphone 4s and BB 9700. ie- Bold2.
The most imp thing for me in the phone is Battery life.
when i bought the BB my battery went on for 2 days with my usage, which included replying on atleast 100 mails, calls and chatting which was simply awesome.
Its been 2 yrs now
I wanna buy a new BB now. The phone shud be fast and good battery life most importantly.
please suggest asap
Its great and awesome with 1.2 GHz CPU and 768 ram and 8 GB eternal memory. I am quite satisfied with it and do my office work mostly on it.
9810 is all what 9800 needed to be the perfect phone.
I used my 9800 for a year and what I hoped was there is here now.
It combines best of two worlds touch screen + keyboard and of course the neat track pad as in 9800.
Nice, handy and driving friendly, responsive, crisp high resolution display in general I’m extremely happy with it more that any blackberry I had before.
DOES 9810 have GPS..?? Blackberry site says it doesnt. GSM arena specs say it does..?? whom to blv..?? and also any suggestions amongst 9810,9850 and 9900. or is it worth to wait for BB London..? thanx!
Kp98, 27 Feb 2012Which blackberry is better the torch 9810 or the torch 9860They have similar specs and aabilities. It largly depends on form factor preference. The 9860 has a larger screen, which would slightly enhance videos and web browsing.I heard that the battery life is better on the 9810. I look at the 9810 as a mix of the 9900 and 9860 as it has both a touchscreen and keyboard and both are good. If you are a heavy texter, I would say the 9810, but the 9860 has a decent virtual keypad in landscape mode. The 9860 is lighter, thinner, and longer. Tyhe 9810 feels more solid. It really comes down to preferred form factor. Hope this helps.
BBChina, 25 Feb 2012I have my 9810 for a week and so far, alright. Since it is AT&T unlocked version with now ... moreI have similar problem here, since I do not have BIS/BES in my location, cannot even use preinstalled gtalk or MSN.
Does this device have near-field communication support? Just strange, as one cell phone network in our country markets it as "near-field communication ready", but there's nothing on the GSM Arena spec sheet.
