No wlan Blackberry still doing mistakes 8900 no 3G new model with 3g but no wifi poor decision from blackberry when u will come with all in one phones
Come on! what do you think RIM? is there any difficulty for you to put all type of connections into single unit? why this has 3G and that has WiFi etc. make some progress.
Come on blackberry, all of your phones are the same, no new design, same old phone with a different shell. No Wi-Fi? Thats a dealbreaker for about half of the people considering it. Its no wonder why there is no Blackberry in other countries as people there realize they need Wi-Fi
Phone looks nice, but still not up to date compared to other phones out there. No WLAN what kind of phone doesn't have that now days, even a buy one get one free phone has that option. There is nothing special to all these new Blackberry they just look different but still work the same.
Well rim i thought this was going to be the one, perfect size and keyboard but i live in a non 3G part of the world and i use a lot of wlan as it is faster than the current service which i only use if there is no wlan all i can say is u guys pushed me to the HTC touch pro 2, guess you guys don't need my money anyways.
I await the arrival! i cant wait! the bold and the curve combined together! i really cant wait! x
Menar, 13 Jul 2009This phone looks too much like the Curve 8900. Also I believe the reason for no WLAN is becaus... moreVery true, I also agree. I don't see any other reason as to why they didn't include Wifi other then to have you buy the Data plan from the provider.
What the fluffly duck is RIM doing. Rubbish camera again no WIFI for which they got hammered on the Storm, no new design, no new anything. Rubbish and rubbish voting on this site I see and with obvious reason. Sack the head of marketing at RIM.
Anonymous, 13 Jul 2009nice phone but wtf no wlan? :sWhen you buy a Blackberry on contract you have to buy the Blackberry service which indludes unlimited internet (really about 500MB). So why would you need WLAN?
This phone looks too much like the Curve 8900. Also I believe the reason for no WLAN is because they want you to purchase the Blackberry Data Plan from your Carrier.
GSMArena, this phone was release on BELL (Canada) first not sprint or Verizon.
Anonymous, 13 Jul 2009nice phone but wtf no wlan? :swhy.. would one not buy 8900 ??
i love blackberry phones right now iam having blackberry curve 8900 its a very nice phone i got from the mobile store chennai they given good offers for that price is also very less 24990 only i think this phone comes below 20000 only
I agree this phone is pointless but have RIM developed a creative block or something? The curve was half old curve half storm in design and this again is half storm half bold.
How about a fresh design that doesnt look like two existing handsets taped together?
