It doesn't sound like a conventional problem. I remember this stuff happening to nokia symbians when they used to run out of memory.
Consider a reset. I am quite sure it should resolve the problem. BB10 is a new OS and we can expect thingslike memory leaks etc. which might indeed be resolved in the upcoming updates.

You deserve N95 mobile and its app-store only.
Since this forum is to share information and help rather to comment as you feel like and don't like a mobile.
I don't think people even consider what you write and try to pass info to others.

You can install any Android application in it(YES ANY). I am using Instagram, Pinterest, Google Maps, TED etc of Android and the thing is known as SideLoading Android applications.
Talking about Blackberry Native Applications they are brilliant in design look and feel as compared to other OS applications and take less time in loading.
Compare Sports-Tracker application(or any other) of quad-core Android mobile with Dual-Core Blackberry mobile's native application and you will get to know how responsive is the operating system and the apps gel with it nicely.

can anyone help me out wit that
I have had mine a week and I am very pleased with it. Perfect for my business. It's a high quality phone and easy to use. It has all the essential features and apps I need.
It's more of a professional phone. Maybe not the phone for the teeny boppers out there that want a library of games but then isn't that what Xbox and Nintendo were for.
pls my z10 and q10 are havin issues, cant receive msg unless i restart the phones, when i read a msg it still appears as unread, even deleting the msg is not possible, i have updated to the latest version of 10.1.0.4181 but the issue persist, i have to restart the phones for my facebook msgs and text msgs to appear as read, pls can some one with the knowledge of this help me out? Thank u and God bless!!!
In what world you are living, viber is available for BB.
The problem with BB, it's appstore is a big joke.
Nothing compared to Apple or Android's play store
the problem is Blacberry always in the fall because he has a lot of problems, and the biggest problems that most popular have it such as viber&tango and........... do not work on it,
this big problem for all the users.
miguelos2, 26 Jul 2013Please do not compare Blackberry 10 with Android or IOS, are platafarmos very different and wh... more1st you tell people to not compare, and then you go on to do exactly that, and then you mistakenly point that BlackBerry 10 is for entertainment, well it is not, it was developed as a robust communications platform, however they also added the features of android and IOS as the scrolling and the gestures, when you add that user interface you open the gate for entertainment, but the OS itself is robust for communications and security, thus making it extremely appealing to people who just want something very reliable.
then you proceed to point "Android is focused on trash and then make phone calls", well android was developed as a fully customizable OS, thus making it appealing to people who enjoy programing their own devices, for these kind of people security comes later since what they really want is to hack and make their device do whatever they want that was not initially intended by the maker like remote controlling a toy helicopter, or overcome the security of a router's wifi using the phone.
on the other end, IOS was actually developed for entertainment, when it was first presented it was actually and ipod OS then upgraded to support connectivity, thus making it very reliable for resources management, this is why IOS usually runs faster and smoother with less requirements than android.
now, if you just want a phone for communication, get any, just keep in mind you are the user so get the one you feel good about; if you want a phone that is closed and has great security and reliability on data management get a blackberry, if you want a phone to keep media, mix media, and surf on the internet a little, get an iphone; if you want a phone that you can turn upside-down push to its limits, don't care about security (cause you probably are good on coding) then get an android.
i really don't comment on windows phone, so far i know is reliable and secure, but still has a long way to go since its not so massive, so there isn't as many people trying to hack it and test its vulnerabilities, i know the tools it has are reliable, and works very well for the average joe.
i myself am android user, and find your lack of knowledge, a little bit worse than insulting..
.. for you that is.
next time you try to troll or insult a thing, a user or whatever, please do it with "property", meanwhile go and learn, then if you want to post again please read before you click "submit", it is the people like you, the ones that give the blackberry community the reputation of boring and ignorant about other devices and software development, i for one praise their strong work on data and security management, while not being perfect it is quite good, and have made a great work with BB10 allowing the programing of games and other heavy applications.
on another note, for those of you who wonder whether this or keep the 9900, i would go for the z10, the simple reason is the battery life, z10 can stay on sync all day and it wont die on you, the 9900 drains the battery too fast, also the z10 has better data handling than the 9900 due to the way it syncs with your mail and chat apps.
neeraj mishra, 29 Jul 2013how can i update os 10.1 in my Z10.....pls rply anyone fast..i m waitingHi Neeraj,
I think your device is STL100-1. For that I think 10.1 is due to be rolled out. May be later you may like to install leaked 10.2 when its available without bugs as I think its not going to be released for your version.
