Nickyjeff, 04 Feb 2013How sure are you about that? Because its everywhere that it doesn't use bis.BB10 doesn't require BIS. But BIS can also be used. It depends on your preference plan.

Here's a quote from Crackberry:
"Yes you can use any smartphone data plan for the Z10 and Q10
Yes, a dedicated BlackBerry plan will still work
No, you can't use a feature plan like email only or BBM only"
It now has skype but didnt need it. BBM does all that and way more. Video chat, voice chat, screen share etc.

Forgot to mention no Skype or what's app or tango in application or blackberry world
Hands on my first day found out the following you must download a link to sync your bb10 with your computer 2 you cannot sync with outlook (no software from BlackBerry) but supposedly you can with Gmail account 3. Call line I'D not working so you don't know who is calling no push email for your company account
Mobe, 04 Feb 2013Don't be a fool, visit the below link and see for yourself how much BlackBerry spent for the p... morethey have to spend the money cause they have fallen to the bottom of the crapper now, so only way to bump the sales and get the phones out there is a massive advertisement to get the word out to everyone all over and hope ppl buy it.. i bought it just for the heck of trying it out, if all good i'll keep it if not. you'll see it on kijiji for 500 canadian

Mr Awesome, 02 Feb 2013I'm not a hardcore BB fan, but i gotta say, comments like that just make you look dumb. &qu... moreHave you ever tried Samsung Galaxy Note 2? Just try it, and I guess you will never look back to the even newest BlackBerry Phones after. # Just try the best one, and you'll be guaranteed to get the best experiences.
Congratulation, RIM! You are now the best and biggest Branded Copycat of the recent High-End SmartPhone on earth.
You had almost perfectly duplicate the look (body & UI) and hardwares well known announced by Android, iPhone, and Windows Phone.
So where is the BlackBerry? Oh.. 5% of New BBM of course.. sorry.. LOL.
Oh, one thing you might forget to copy that the recent Android gadgets has been standardized by Quad Core CPU.

Anonymous, 04 Feb 2013Dont be so ridiculous. Blackberry is still the most used business phone. I work along 700 ... moreYup! You're absolutely right that "BlackBerry is the most used mobile phone for business". You know why? Of course, because they (BB Users) only know the smartphone (BB) in their heads, but not the smart(est) phone like Android and iPhone. They never consider and cross the much better gadgets (Android and iPhone) in their minds. They always think that the best smartphone for business is BB, don't you know that such tought is an outdated mind. Android and iPhone are proven to be much better gadgets for business for today and the future. # WE SHOULD LEARN TO SAY NO FOR THE GOOD ONE, SO WE CAN SAY YES TO THE BETTER ONE.
korbiye, 04 Feb 2013Can't wait to buy this BB Z10, hope the os is smooth, no lag like s3Do you really had ever used Galaxy S3? I don't think so. I'd used and fully tested it for 8 months. Everyone who has the better mindset and reviews knows that S3 is faster than any BlackBerry in all aspects. Simply remember that S3 is powered by Quad Core CPU, while the newest BB 10 gadgets are just powered by slower outdated Dual Core CPU.
Just got a hand on the device for like 10 minutes.
Here is what i found:
- Touch not as smooth as Android phone (S 2)
- Initial Setup was a little confusing and time taking
- What i felt was that they have tried to get the best of both worlds(Android and iOS)
Still need to see how does that go
- Size wise, seemed a little bulkier than S 2
- Looking at the configuration, I would certainly say that it is a bit over priced.
- One good thing is that you can use all the services with any internet connection, Wifi 3g , do not need any BIS services to be activated.
Android Man, 04 Feb 2013wow nice looking phone for a blackberry. just need to make the hardware work. nice try. only a... moreMore efficient operating software means lower processor requirements.
A fantastic device which is a good alternative to the competition.
Iam really disappointed when i got the phone. When blackberry visited my work place, i was showed and saw the SKYPE icon on it that it is skype friendly and also full pc system. when i got the phone, there was nothing like skype on the appworld or of such and as ebay seller its not helping at all as you cant revise any item on it whicj is really bad...
but for every other thing as for now its ok.
Must say, I have owned a variet of phones - S2, S3, Note 1, Note 2, HTC Desire, Desire HD, One X, BB 9700, BB 9800 Torch, BB 9900 and now the BB Z10 - All I can say is.. WOW. It really is an awesome phone. Incredibly fast, responsive, feels fluid.
Admittedly it is something that Blackberry should have released a while ago, but hopefully, if this phone is marketed correctly, it WILL take off.
I won't be going back to Android for some time.
