Anonymous, 31 Jan 2013Are people living in the past? I don't see what is so impressive about its specs.
CPU: Dual... moreSo you're basing BlackBerry 10 OS to Android. Not a good start.
BlackBerry 10 was designed from the ground up to be a new and optimised mobile computing platform. If They wanted to be like Android then they would have just cobbled together any old OS and then had to use ridiculously fast components just to get any kind of use from it.
Personally I would rather have a slick, flawless experience from a smart phone without the need for hot running, power hungry specs. This is why the Z10 runs fantastic and doesn't need any more than a 1800mah battery.
If Samsung and the rest want to be truly ground breaking then they'll have to make the effort to engineer their own OS instead of the lazy option of pulling someone else's OS from the shelf, sticking an extra cpu core on it and calling it the next big thing.
Bought one today. not bad.. massive improvement from previous models, however no WhatsApp!!
gerandong, 31 Jan 2013Since when does bb has mobile hotspot capability? My 9900 and also the spare 9320 already have hotspot
get your facts straight. It's a dual-core krait. It's faster than most quads around. Just gotta wait to see how the OS manages the hardware. If it does as well as Apple then we'll have BB back on track in no time. The screen is small for the size of the phone but still... The question is: does it support apk's as rumoured earlier last year?
Its to late black berry. We can used this type of spec in 2011 such as galaxy s2 htc sensation xperia s lg opimus 2X..there is no new interesting thing which can buy..one more important thing 4.6inch display has no IPS or amoled.only 16m colors?..what your opinion users?
will the new blackberry 10 have paid application & games from app world or like other android phones there will be free apps like temple run and angry birds...
Anonymous, 30 Jan 2013Of course BB has hotspot my Curve 9360 even has mobile hotspot.....i use it when I am on the roadSince when does bb has mobile hotspot capability?
2 v, 31 Jan 2013The final nail in the coffin for Blackberry; These are Spring 2012 Hardware Specs. Their R/D +... morePlease! The iPhone 5 has HALF the RAM and a 1,2Ghz DUAL-CORE processor but it runs smoother than all Androids with 8-core 1,9Ghz and what not. It's a matter of needs and the BB Z10 does NOT need bigger power drainers. Cheers :)
The final nail in the coffin for Blackberry; These are Spring 2012 Hardware Specs. Their R/D + Manufacturing and distribution is far behind world standards. It’s a matter of time... R.I.P
dumb daughter wilbuy, 31 Jan 2013Ooooooh a dual core krait with adreno225 graphics, welcome to last year!!!! Yeah, start off... moreBecause BB10 needs the specs that Android phones need to get the same performance. Not. This is why Android fanboys will never understand why iOS runs smoother than their phones.
max, 18 Jan 2013It's 2013 and RIM makes phones with specs from 2010.That's the way to go RIM.You will probably... moreOoooooh a dual core krait with adreno225 graphics, welcome to last year!!!!
Yeah, start off a complete generation behind....modern krait chips come with quad cores and a modern graphic chip, adreno320, but hey! let's have half the speed! Woot
Wow look at that screen take about half the frontal area of the phone, making a phone with a much smaller screen just as big as HTC one-x which has a much larger screen.
Well done BB, you are awesome!!
A product as superior in range as this shouldn't have gotten a 1800 Mah battery. It's damn poor for it capacity
