BlackBerry seemed to have lost consumer support, but now they're doing some major changes like the Move On project and Alicia Keys being appointed as the Global Creative Director at BlackBerry. I'm sure BlackBerry will regain its support of users once again. Don't forget to check the BlackBerry Keynote on YouTube :)
Design does not look appealing. The logo cud have been far more sleek and sophisticated and the bezel is a bit too big. Specs look o.k. May be that's the power this os needs to be running on this hires device
If the occupied balckberry brand mark can be replaced by additional screen side, that would be much more better. It seems like the bottom part is wasting of space.
Pre-booking is in effect in the UAE from du Telecom on a fee of AED 200. Priced at AED 2599. Expected to arrive on 10th of Feb.
This phone is the future. BlackBerry has proven itself. BlackBerry OS was very annoying and boring once, but the BlackBerry OS 10 is a perfection already in its early development stage. I don't know why people are arguing about Android or iOS? Each of these OS's have their own pros and cons depending on the user's needs. This one fills my needs for sure. Kudos BlackBerry!
Guys just watch this video ...and know your BB.

BB has approximately 2 billion in the bank and 80 million loyal customers. they have not done anything recently because they have been in transition mode plus BB10 has been in development for the past 2 years.
please do research before posting

The "popularity" of the phone may be low in the US, but it is very popular in a lot of other countries. I also think that the reason blackberry lost its mark in north america was all due to bad timing. Bad timing on the "good" releases they had...and REALLY bad timing on the mistakes they released.
But, bottom line, the blackberry OS and iOS systems are VERY efficient, and require less processing power than the Andriods open source OS needs...which is why this only NEEDS a duel core to run even faster than the S3...i know it sucks to hear, but its true! Look it up!
