All your messages come in a hub and you can simply send messages or reply from there only. You don't need to open the app to reply.
For example, if you are chatting on bbm and whatsapp simultaneously, then, when you get a message on whatsapp in the hub, you simply open it from there. A whatsapp page opens and you can reply from there. Then again you get a bbm message, you simply open the bbm message and again a single bbm page will open and you can reply from there. I've been using it for three months. And I can say that if you really love chatting or texting and want to get these things done quickly then BlackBerry 10 does it in the best way. No other OS matches the speed with which you can perform communication related thing on BlackBerry 10.
This is the unique thing about BlackBerry hub. You got to use it to know the real benefit.
And trust ne guys, once you use it, it will become very tough to go back to android or Ios.

been using my Q10 over a year and i can say its the most advanced phone in the world ....amazing ability for e-mails and fun using one of the best cameras for business and fun...and also the job i do ...dont have much access to computer ...so my Q 10 is my mobile office and i am really happy with it...cant wait to ger the new passaport or classic ....so lets live blackberry ..the best ever created

I have used all the phones with diffrent os....but believe me Im so much sarisfied with bb10 os....
Android is rufff..totally ruff os..
Ios and bb10 are two competiter in market on os....bb10 is beating ios nowadays....go blindy for any bb10 devise u will enjoy it without any irritation and boring feelings....best os ever...

And from sec concern i can understand that it is too much secured thats why all militants in 26/11 attack having bb phones.after that indian gov pushed its .... inside bb's .... ,even some more govs did the same..,, the actual qstn still remains that what is in messaging ? if u have lotus server then mails stored there..if it is gmail then mails belong to gmail..then where is bb in all these ? It could be done with any phone. plz clear my doubt..and yes all are true that i never touched bb10..so plz enlighten me
