Hi guys I now I am using z30. This is the finest phone and is good than android, windows and iphone. So I hope z3 also will be a good.
akash, 13 May 2014This is android phoneYou are right. But people here will never understand your brilliance. Lol you are funny man
[deleted post]you are a liar. 9780 wasnt even out for 8 years. Please do not lie.
I'm using a Q10 and the OS is smooth with no lags.. light hiccups but nothing major to affect user experience..
Dual core processor plus 3G only...not so attractive...this will be another fail for BB.
JACK SPARRROW, 14 May 2014Its reviews like yours that is beyond ridiculous. The z3 is in no way the best phone, not even... moreI read his post and cant understand why you reply him like that. He isnt saying Z3 is the best but it is a key player in relaunching the BB brand.
4 years ago?? What phone did you have 4 years ago? I had the best at the time, the N900, others will say the best was Galaxy S, with its 8GB storage, 1GHz single core A8 cpu, 512MB RAM, 800x480 resolution. And you are saying that dual Krait 1.2GHz, 1.5GB RAM and 960x540 res isnt better?
Your claims are very much off, even 3 years ago tehre were NOTHING in the market that could have challenged Z3, Galaxy S2 was still inferior in both resolution and CPU power, and even had less RAM, only 1GB.
Value for money, Z3 is great, thats why im getting one, never ever before have we had so much power for so little money. My Z10 has 2GB RAM but its CPU is actually same performance as this one (dual Cortex A9 at 1.5GHz vs dual Krait at 1.2GHz) and i know how well the Z10 performs, and i expect the same performance from Z3.
Now we can discuss WHY BB10 performs so unreasonable well on these relatively weak CPUs, if its microkernels or what but the fact still remains that they DO perform this well.
Now heres a lab test anyone can do at home. Take any Android quadcore flagship, start up Chrome, go to desktop version of a facebook profile, use only desktop functionality and behold the performance. Not that impressive. Some waiting time, some unresponsiveness when open photos in the viewer, for long periods. Now do the same on a Z10, the weak old dual core does it flawless without any lag or unresponsiveness whatsoever, and it does it with full Adobe Flash support.
akash, 13 May 2014This is android phoneNo it's QNX . Better than android .
Anonymous, 14 May 2014No Lte, lousy camera, dismal app store, shall I continue. Can everyone praising this phone loo... moreLTE version will be release latter . SUJIT, 13 May 2014i think this is not a good phone, bcoz of non-removal battery.iphone nexus and moto too had non removable battery but they are sold as hot cakes
Omekaac, 14 May 2014I've been using BlackBerry for a long time. I started with the Storm 1 then moved to Storm 2. ... moreIts reviews like yours that is beyond ridiculous. The z3 is in no way the best phone, not even 4 years ago would it have been the best phone. Blackberry made this a budget phone and then you actually write that.
No Lte, lousy camera, dismal app store, shall I continue. Can everyone praising this phone look at the phones available with the much higher specs. Blackberry RIP.
Gladiator, 13 May 2014What if the battery dies and you want to replace it?I've been using BlackBerry for a long time. I started with the Storm 1 then moved to Storm 2. Torch 2 followed, then I moved to Z10. I'm currently rocking the Z30.
The Z30 is quality smartphone and I confidentially say the this is the best of all phones.
With the Z3,BlackBerry is definitely moving forward in re establishing itself as leading player and not an underdog.
Well done BlackBerry!
Allen, 13 May 2014What is the point of a smartphone today
without LTE bands?
If the phone has no LTE connecti... moreBlackBerry is gonna release Z3 in emerging markets. And most of them dont have 4G yet, so, it is not a problem.
Z3 is not gonna come to countries like U.S.A, so no need to have LTE Bands.
And at this price, You cant expect everything from a premium manufacturer
Mr Gentleman, 13 May 2014Am glad BB is coming alive again, that is a good news. The lost of top market share by the wor... moreBb is not a toy fone..jas gt dat into ya head..I've used bb 9780 for geting to 8 yrs now n its still alive n kickn..I've head numerous negative comments abt z10..am using z10 for 5months now trust me its 100% efficient d virtual keyboard is excellent and unique.bb10 is lag free..never wory ya self installing andriod apps jas understan that u r using bb n be content wit wat u ve in d bb world..Z10 can last u for more than 10 yrs..I drop my z10 from ear level on a tiled floor it never scratch...THANK U RIM
The Z3 is very good as the specification show and for the fact that BB is always the best brand. I suggest RIM should give us a variant with complete physical keyboard for those of that type too much. The length of the phone is enough to accommodate complete physical keyboard; just make the screen 4 inches and use the remaining 1 inch for the keyboard layout. Also upgrade the processor to 2GHz and the RAM to 3GB and the magic is done. Notwithstanding the Z3 is excellent in the overall view.
Gladiator, 13 May 2014What if the battery dies and you want to replace it?i think this is not a good phone, bcoz of non-removal battery.
Palon, 13 May 2014Removable battery is a must for a smartphone just in case you need to reset the phone when it ... moreYou will not need the removable battery in any bb10 like any android does need. You dont need to pull the battery in bb 10 in any freeze because bb10 will never freeze ahaha :)
