Ansi, 04 Mar 2014Is this for Indoneshia only??????It shall be shipped to all Emerging market in APRIL and May
Regretfully, I must say I do not think the fact that BB 10 will ever become relevant operating system. Consider the fate of Blackberry tablets versus ios or android. I'm Not an android fan, but I think this is the only resonable alternative (ios is not posibile).
What I want to point out is that, initially, Blackberry phones represented: business user comfort, premium quality and exclusive services (BBM). Now the situation is different.
Tobias, 07 Mar 2014Blackberry will not again become a respected brand producing phones as Z3!By respectable , you mean costly, then Chen's strategy introducing entry level Z3 is very welcome.
Steve, 07 Mar 2014Mr. Chen when thinking about returning to the forefront Blackberry, please keep in mind two ty... moreYou said android? What is so special in android? A million flashlight or fart-sound applications? Most of the productivity applications are in BB10
Oh, have you ever used ( not touching the phone in some outlet for 5 minutes) a BB10 device?
I think Jolla Sailfish should be a good alternative OS. Android? Never. We have android phones in every size and shape from many manufacturers.
Steve, 07 Mar 2014Mr. Chen when thinking about returning to the forefront Blackberry, please keep in mind two ty... moreHmm what you say is very true but we need market share for the BB 10 os this could be the device which could be a good test device for bb 10 is nd if this is a hit then BBC 10 os will become relevant nd developers will come nd make app for native os. Thisin turn will help great response as flagship device since more apps will be available .nd also android will drop in sales since BBC 10 is is really smooth is.I want this device into India where it could gain some traction.

Mr. Chen when thinking about returning to the forefront Blackberry, please keep in mind two types of phones:
- One physical keyboard - which must be the archetype BB 9700 - I do not think it should have touch screen, a built BB9700 quality, stronger, slimmer, and necessarily more robust (stealing the idea of Steve Jobs with the iPhone 4, which ones from Apple lost the iPhone 5)
- One touch screen, no physical keyboard (a sturdy and stylish iPhone 4 dimensions of Motorola XT 890 i).
P. S. BB10 operating system is a big problem for Blackberry. My suggestion is to drop the BB 10, which is unintuitive and power hungry; reasonable alternative - Android amended secure.
Blackberry does not need more than 2 phone models, and in no way make more cheap phones with infernal competition with low profit margins or negative that affect brand image.
Honestly, Z3 is a shame. Let companies in China to think and to build this type of phone.
Can anyone tell me what kind of android app can be install on os 10.2? Im intresting to this phone if value under $200 to change my old curve 8330 and my android tab
Mihai, 03 Mar 2014For all the haters reading this: i own both a Z30 and a Q10 and i still think that BlackBerry ... moreI'm totally agree with you! I also have the Z30 and a Q10 and a BlackBerry PlayBook, z10 I give it to my brother.
For all the haters reading this: i own both a Z30 and a Q10 and i still think that BlackBerry has the best OS in the world.
So please stick your 1000USD iPhone where it fits :)
blackberry has to launch a budget phone immediately...hope this will help us all
Sean, 02 Mar 2014Wow. Really? I was expecting something good out of this phone. Oh wait, it's a BlackBerry...@Sean This phone is releasing in emerging markets like Indonesia for under $200, will run BBOS 10.2.1 and be 3G ONLY. Aside from that, no specs have been released.
The latest BBOS is very well made as are their phones.
I hope this phone has a micro SD card slot which can hold up to 64 GB card and a removable battery as well as an LED flash. Design wise, this phone is the best I have seen in three years in the low end/mid range market. If priced lower than Moto G then this phone is a hit, no doubt about it.
