this phone rocks, at first battery was draining and I hated it, but after a week it came to its senses. I can now go through the day without having to charge it. and its camera is superb. loving this device, I definitely recommend it

I am using it since 15 days... And I am happy... No any complaints... Useful phone.. Camera is good. All android apps works easily and u can use internet as you use normally... No aany special conditions... Its awesome.... Go and buy it.

Got this phone for a month and it's totally worth buying and rocks! Don't compare the specs with android because Blackberry maximizes its hardware. The OS is fluid and fast considering that it has lower specs compared to Z10 & Z30 so I also thought if my Z3 is fast how much if this was Z10 & Z30 so it's a major thumbs up for me bec. I hate the lagness of "quadcore" or even "octacore" androids compared to a dualcore BB.
Second, given it's an entry level phone for BB I honestly suggest that it exceeded my expectations because even it's 5mp, the camera was good compared to 5mp and other 8mp of android, also front cam is good enough for taking selfies and video chats. The only flaw of Z3's camera is it does produce quite noisy pics in dark but given of with flash, it's good and it's fixed focused but taking macro shot is excellent. The screen is nice too and you can adjust its settings. The browser is BB's one major turnon it's really nice to browse with fluidity and you can justify that by testing on html5 beating most android flagships.
I must not forget how Blackberry Hub is good and you can install android apps in many ways I can even play Dungeon Hunter 4 without hiccups, plus the battery life is excellent.
I'm an Iphone and android user and it took me quite a courage to see a BB OS 10 so I decided to buy an entry level Blackberry and I'm really happy for it. Gonna ditch my android and deciding to buy Z30 or the upcoming full touch BB phone. I really never expect how I would like the OS and feel of Blackberry.
I don't know why there's many out there complaining about screen, battery, lag and hangs maybe they're just idiots or they buy a fake one. Just remember it's an entry level phone but when you compared it to other midrange android you will know how good it is.
P.S. Even though it's entry level phone it does receive updates from time to time even the upcoming OS 10.3 which is already on Passport and Classic

Anonymous, 30 Dec 2014Can the blackberry z3 access android apps?yes. all android apps are working on my phone. downlaod amazon app or 1 mobile market. directly download all apps. i am using- VLC player, MX player, safe gallery, viber, flipkart, tubemate on my phone. Avoid mobogenie. infact there are lots of apps on BB world.

very nyz phone..
classy feeling & touch is smooth.
very responsive and fast (as my friends phone htc 616 which octa core & z3 is dual..).
go for it its a gr8 device.& has an unbeatable battery life(mine survive for 1 day with heavy use)
display is good & camera is also good at day time.
i dont know why these people say baaad about the phone i bought it from amazon and i have no complaints and i am using it for about 1.5 months.
good value for money
lovin the bb os 10 and waiting for the update.bt missing the gorilla glass and though it is strong i have dropped it twice or thrice the last one was from my table i thought phone is dead bt surprisingly no probs. loving blackberry for such a wonderful phone.
