All of us would admit that there are people who can run faster than us, who have more durability, have bigger this and that bodyparts than us and can lift more than us, be better than us at boxing or whatever fighting sports it may be, and also some can calculate faster than us and write better, but it seems its hard to admit that they can also have better eyes than us, why???
Just as our muscles and whatever was created very unequal our eyes and ears also were created equally unequal. To get an idea, do some research what is 20/20 vision, you'll be surprised, 20/20 is actually a very poor vision and most people dont get that poor vision before they are between 60 and 70 years old.
Apples Retina were defined based on a 20/20 vision! it only equals to ONE arcminute, ONLY ONE, while the resolution of the human eye is actually 3 times higher at 0.35 arcminutes.

I got rid of my Galaxy Note 2 because i couldnt stand the terrible pixelated display at only 267 PPI, it was useless for web browsing, it was terrible.
Font size 8 is very big compared to the sizes im talking about here, but i can still read them, IF the PPI is 440.
Anyway, im sure BB will release phones with 400 PPI or more, i just hope they will not all be big misfits, im through with big phones, i change to iOS or go back to Android if BB fail to bring a considerably upgraded successor to Z10 this year.

Z30 is the Ultimate device i was always looking for.
What i like about Z30?
1] Build Quality
2]BB10 OS(No crappy notification icons on top of screen like Android, No Lag like Android, No itunes required like iOS, No fixed toggle menu like iOS, no Blue tooth restriction like iOS, Can have a wallpaper which is not there in Windows Phone OS, Can record calls which i cant on Windows Phone) Hub feature with priority hub is amazing.
3]No Menu buttons and back buttons(gesture based).
4] Amazing virtual keyboard(Best in the world).
5] Excellent music quality(even beats the iPod)
5] Loud Speaker (Never miss a call)
6] Fantastic in call sound quality (no huh huh..what what and say again say again)
7] Man this phone catches network signal even in my office elevator.(No phone did that previously).
8] Last but most important:- Its BATTERY(how can i forget it) NEVER SAYS DIE..(I used to keep a charger in my office previously for my samsung S3 and now believe me i charge once in 2 to 3 days not because i dont use much but because Z30'S battery is big and screen is amoled)
Love you BlackBerry.. Love you Z30
zahra, 05 May 2014if it has a excelent ppi then its battery wouldnt be like this like iphone...2D rendering is not an issue for power consumption, and 3D isnt really an issue also since it will very often load the GPU to the max anyway, if the resolution is lower it will often spend the same amount of power to render it at a higher framerate.
The difference in power consumption is so small but the visual advantage of 1080 is big on a 5 inch display.

Z10 is much better but still small text has too low quality and is hard to read without zooming in. On my Xperia Z i could read MUCH smaller text, the high PPI made the tiniest of fonts readable, and thats something i miss. Hope my next BB can let me do that again.

Been use Z30 for about a month.. i noticed some issue with this phone,
1 - When pairing with ear bluetooth device, the range that it can handle is shorter than other android or ios phone, more noise when theres a wall blocked. ( I have Samsung Galaxy Golden I9230 and Z30 paired with my Plantronics Voyeger )
2 - After updating OS version, when theres incoming call, sometimes i got stucked when i wanna slide to left ( to answer call ). On and off button wont work. I have to wait for the call end then i need to call the person back.
This is the only problem i have with my Z30. The phone is good, i love this phone.. hope theres an update to fix this.
[deleted post]It is currently on offer for 60 days for 35K, and i think 50 days might already be over and then it will get back to its orignal price of 40k.
Agree to Astro boy......I also just bought Z30 yesterday after reading so positif users review from many sources. I Started with Symbian then Android and now BlackBerry 10. Z30 is my second BB phone after my first awesome BB Q5 that i bought 5 month ago.. Now I have two BB10 phones and i really dont feel that i am gonna touch any android phone. BlackBerry rule the world.
I've had the phone for more than four months. Its one of the best and most reliable smart phones on the market. The battery lasts for two days in average-high use and never experienced a failure. highly recommend it to business users
Bought Z30 today and i am loving it. I Started with Symbian then Windows Phone and then Android and now BlackBerry 10 and let me tell you the user experience is best on BB10. Its just awesome. Now once i am used to BB10 OS i really dont feel that i am gonna touch any android phone.
Love you BlackBerry..
Interesting reading the comments.
The comments supporting the phone provide the details on what they like and why.
Almost all those being critical of the phone lack details on what specifically they're doing with the phone when they have a problem or just make a general comment that us who do own the phone know just isn't true. When asked for details you just hear crickets.
The Z30 is a great phone. Anyone bashing it for supposed low specs (other than the camera), batter life or screen display are clueless about the phone and the OS and should probably go buy a Samsung.
Anyone critical of BB for it's support are equally misinformed. BB support for the phones using BOS-10 is second to none. Only one that comes close is Sony in my opinion. (Sorry iphone users, Apple OS development can't figure out how to release new revisions without re-introducing old bugs - I've owned 4 iphones going back to the original and ending with the 5 so don't tell me different. Examples: wi-fi connectivity issues and the recurring battery drain issue that comes up with every new major release.)
If Blackberry put the same type of marketing behind their phones that Samsung or Apple do I am sure Blackberry sales would be showing great quarter over quarter sales numbers. Look no further than HTC to see another example of a company with a great phone (the ONE) with sales that haven't met expectations.
If cost is an issue in buying a Z10 or Z30, get the Z3 or pickup a use Z10. I doubt you'll be disappointed.
AnonD-253289, 22 Apr 2014bb z30 drops wifi connection automatically three to four times a day. when you turn off and on... moreNever had that happen to me...most likely it's your router settings that automatically disconnects idle connections after a certain amount of time.
