Last month Blackmagic Design, a popular maker of cinema cameras, announced an Android app that can record H.264 and H.265 video and integrates with the company’s DaVinci Resolve video editor and related cloud services. Version 1.0 only worked on select Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy phones.

Now the company is rolling out Blackmagic Camera 1.1, which adds more devices to the supported list and adds a host of new features. With v1.1, the app supports Google Pixel 6, 6 Pro and 6a, Samsung’s Galaxy S21 and S22 series, the OnePlus 11 and 12 and the Xiaomi 13 and 14 series.
