DO NOT SLIDE the SD card under the metal clip.
DO NOT LIFT the metal clip.
DO PRESS FIRMLY on the clip, It will release the clip.
Then DO SLIDE the clip towards the edge of the phone.
The clip will open easily now.
Insert the micro SD card, metal face down towards the edge in the metal clip.
Close it, feel and hear the clips.
Put the battery back in.
Close the cover.
Go to Settings. You should see your new SD card with your a 14 GB (of 16 GB) capacity.
No need to do anything else.
Done. All devices, such as music player, gallery and camera should detect any newly added multimedia file.
Not a word about this in the user manual, it is a annoying omission that costs hours of research.

I am stuck with the micro SD card. There is not a word in the user manual about SD cards, and none on the Internet for Blu phones specifically. I located the SD card slot behind the battery. But, I can't get it in. There is a metal clip there. It doesn't slide, and it doesn't lift. So, the only possible and imaginable way to get this 16 GB micro SD card in, is to introduce it from the top, like the SIM cards, and to push it in. But, it doesn't go all the way. There lacks 3 or 4 millimeters. And, it wouldn't be right to force it more than I already did. Anybody can help, please?

can someone help me out with connecting to the internet with this phone? when I go to the google play store it ask me if I have an existing account or not. I pushed new account and it took me to the Wi-Fi setup page. then I select my internet connection, enter the password info and push connect, then it says authenticating, then it says saved, secured with wpa/wpa2. but the next button to go to next step wont work as well. also it says authentication problem(im not sure how to fix that problem.) it gives me the same problem when I choose existing account too. can some one help me out?

Guille, 20 Mar 2014Just get one of this phones and none of the programs i use can access the gyro or compass. I t... moreI received confirmation from Blu tech support: this phone only have 3 sensors: accelerometer, proximity and light (and this last sensor is detected but doesnt work).
No gyro or compass sensor.
You should check with Blu to post the correct specifications.

Just get one of this phones and none of the programs i use can access the gyro or compass. I try with several sensor status apps but not one can find those two sensors.
Do you get your specifications from Blu?
This phone doesn't appear to come with those two sensors.

After ordering this phone, I attempted to find a replacement battery online. Unsuccesful. Contact Blu Products who referred me to 24hrsdeals.com. They tell me there is NOT a battery available for the Blu Advance at this time. If this is important to you, I would recommend you not buy this phone.
