I have a Blu Advance 4.0 phone. When I make calls it doesn't ring on my end. I just get silence. So I have no idea if the call is going through or not. I've searched the phone to see if something is muted but can find nothing. Is there a setting that I need to change in order to hear a call is ringing through ring?

- Press and hold button on top right until you get a dialog
- Select "Power Off"
* Remove back cover
- Use corner of a credit card
- Start in notch on the lower-left side
- Gently slip credit card under cover
- Gently run credit card around edge, under cover, until it releases
* Remove battery
* Install SIM
- Slide SIM under silver retainer of socket you want to use (1 or 2)
- Contacts go face-down
- Shape of socket shows orientation of clipped corner

I am still not conversant with all of the icons and uses of this computer. Put out a manual of instructions! For example: I didn't know that my cell phone number would automatically change after 60 days. You need to get this problem sorted ASAP; it's so aggravating not knowing how things work.
actually that 2G doesn't indicate that it is the only capacity of the phone. it is actually area dependent where the phone was used if the are has a 4G coverage.

Ever sin... moreI have had that problem with different phones in the past, but it came down to I was using a MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) which includes Net10, SmartTalk and others like that. Using a MNO (Mobile Network Operator) such as AT&T or T-Mobile will make 3G default band technology. Unfortunately it's the provider rather than the phone. Discount wireless providers take second string to the major wireless providers.

This phone is a fraud. they said it has 4G capacity even when it doesn't even get 3G. Ever since I've gotten it, it's been stuck to 2G. Guess that's the only thing it can run. The manufacturer of this phone should be sued really.

Today out of nowhere, my Blu Advance 4.0 L will not register either SIM card. I powered down, removed and replaced them, wedged a piece of paper in between to make sure the connection was secure, but nothing worked. I have had the phone only a month. Any suggestions?
When I receive a message with attachment, I get option to click the download, after clicking the attachment never opens, after sometime it shows "unable to download" What do I need to do? Thanks very much for your help with this.
I bought this phone Advance 4.0 (9720). So sensitive key board, I tried all options to 'go slow', it dials by it self, jumps another screen, pop screens for no reasons. Even it took the batter off, put it back, still does it. Really annoying.
I have posted comments before about the use of BLU Advance 4.0, but I have never received a notification on how the problem is to be solved. Problems:
-No full step by step instructions.
-Manual is too small to read, and does not have sufficient information such as:
How to create albums
How to name pictures
How to send/download pictures onto a computer.
On Button, and photo button, are directly opposite each other on the pad. I have taken many "unwanted photos of the ground just by holding this pad. The pressure is on both sides of the top when the pad is held. Shitting the photo button to a lower position would help solve one of the problems.

BLU Advantage 4.0 for Christmas. Even now, eight months later, I still do not know how to create albums, download files to my computer, or-how to identify the icons and what they stand for-especially in the photo mode.
The manual that came with this, is outrageous! I'ts about 3"X4", and is unreadable. I have downloaded the larger size-but still have the same problems: there aren't any in-depth step-by-step instructions. I am 85 years of age, and I am too old to take courses on what should be readily available in the issued manual.
Any hope of getting something resolved on this issue??

It ... moreyou need to go to system settings - pick MORE under wireless and networks - Mobile Network - Access Point Names - change that to your carrier, for example mines was set to cellone something...but i changed it to T-Mobile and my data started working. Also the other tabs in Mobile Networks should be set to your carrier T-Mobile. And make sure Network Selection is set to automatic (this is under Mobile Networks, pick Network Operators - and set to automatic selection).
