BLU Advantage 4.0 for Christmas. Even now, eight months later, I still do not know how to create albums, download files to my computer, or-how to identify the icons and what they stand for-especially in the photo mode.
The manual that came with this, is outrageous! I'ts about 3"X4", and is unreadable. I have downloaded the larger size-but still have the same problems: there aren't any in-depth step-by-step instructions. I am 85 years of age, and I am too old to take courses on what should be readily available in the issued manual.
Any hope of getting something resolved on this issue??

It ... moreyou need to go to system settings - pick MORE under wireless and networks - Mobile Network - Access Point Names - change that to your carrier, for example mines was set to cellone something...but i changed it to T-Mobile and my data started working. Also the other tabs in Mobile Networks should be set to your carrier T-Mobile. And make sure Network Selection is set to automatic (this is under Mobile Networks, pick Network Operators - and set to automatic selection).
go into settings select sim management scroll down for data connection and select then select the sim for 4g and you are set

My blue advance 4.0 cannot connect to Google servers ever I've tryed everything, factory reset,uninstalling update, and many other things I need help.
Blu 4.0. All the apps disappeared and contacts. Everything gone. Did a hard reboot. Have taken battery out still can't get anything back. Was playing candy crush when I went out of the game everything disappeared
my phone wont let you put your pass word in and cant do anything so i can play my games and anything like that?? how do i fix it?

I'm not getting to type messages on my blu advance phone can someone tell me what to do?OK. So stay with the basics. Have you ever been able to respond to a message? Assuming so.... Is it only text messages that you're having an issue with? Have you tried to use the voice to text option? Does that aspect work?
Can you type in other fields (such as Facebook, Google, ext)??? AKA will your phone allow you to type for anything, or is it just for texting???
If your phone won't let you write *ANYTHING* YOU MOST LIKELY clicked *something* in the "accessibility* column that you didn't mean to.
All else fails.... Voice to text is awesome....
If you can't type anything, and voice to text isn't working.... Do not pass go. You won't collect $200. Go back to where you bought your phone/your carrier for serious help. Good luck.
I've read some of your opinions and you say that take of the battery and start it on safe mode but, how can i do that if it wont start?

If the phone has been water damaged, put it in a bowl of rice, then power on the phone. You also want to make sure you clean the screen preferably with an eye glass cloth, to make sure the touch is going throught to the screen, not through dirt. If this doesnt work, contact the carrier or the previous owner of the item. Also try messing around with the options. If all else fails, buy a new phone (a better phone) or restart the phone and clear all data, photos, videos, apps, etc.....

Hi, I received the BLU Advance 4.0 as a birthday gift in January of this year, and it has been working perfectly. Now I am experiencing dropped calls in the middle of conversations. My carrier is T-Mobile, and I haven't had any problems with the phone until now. What do I do?, purchase another phone or is there something simple I can do to prevent future calls from being dropped?.
