the website no longer states anything about the upgrade to android 10.... correction, their sales guide still has the original verbiage from when the phone was first released

I suggest anyone buying this or any new phone to get a protective hard case along with the phone to help protect it from squeezing and impact

My charger broke down, the fingerprint sensor worked 1/2 of the time, and the camera's were just bad. You could not call the video recording 30fps on any mode, with any phone motion causing streaked blurs... terrible for being made fun of..

It says something like" fingerprint already added" but start with the very tip of your thing about maybe halfway up the scanning area. It does work. I scanned mine all 5 times and now it works very well on any position I press it

I have to say.. Had this phone since it's release..I love it.. At least for being only 200 bucks.. I've read through the comments and I'm not sure if the problems people are having with their particular unit are confined to them or if its a wider problem.. My particular unit has no problem with Bluetooth..wifi.. Cell signal.. even my fingerprint scanner works great.. It works much faster if you take the screen protector off though..Everything is nice and snappy.. Screen is bright and clear.. I'm not really a camera guy so the "poor" quality of the cameras doesn't bother me.. And I use the term poor very loosely.. Takes great pictures for my own use but I know better cameras do exist on other phones.. This phone is a great price and is perfect for people who like playing the occasional game and people who spend lots of time streaming Netflix and YouTube like myself.. Remember.. You get what you pay for but I think you get a little more with this phone.. Great value.. Great screen.. No notch or hole punch.. Very small bezels.. Haven't found another phone to match it in value.. Strongly recommend it
I was so excited when I got this phone. The specs and features at the price this is selling for made me feel like this was an obvious win. Sadly, the devil is in the details.
First off, what I love: the screen is beautiful. There is a SLIGHT fuzziness compared to other screens with similar DPI, but overall, it's nice and responsive. Also, the main camera, in my opinion, looks great. I've always been happy with the photos it takes. Android Auto simply works, while coming from my old LG V35 that required a child sacrifice to connect to my car.
Everything else, however, has been a pain. I'm not sure how this is possible, but the touchscreen never seems to work right. Typing has never been harder for me, even when coming from smaller screens and more compact keyboards. Keys that are nowhere near my finger register as pressed regularly. Typos occur so often friends likely are worried about my health.
I don't know how a phone can get data and wifi so wrong. So many times I have full bars and no data while sitting next to someone with the same provider who is streaming video and texting. Texts arrive in random bursts about once every other hour. Settings and configurations can be toyed with until my fingers bleed, but make no difference. Network connectivity is just not this phone's strong point.
Bluetooth paring is a roulette. Some devices are detected and connect without a problem. Others are invisible. Depending on the weather, they will appear as available, but don't always pair. It's a roll of the dice every day.
And ultimately, this thing is a PHONE. Which is the worst part of this device. The UI for making calls is really weird. Hanging up is a chore if you're multitasking. Making calls in places I've previously had no trouble with now became a giant dead-zone. Calls drop frequently and randomly. Calls coming my way go directly to voicemail for no apparent reason. Once again, I have full bars, and yet no network. I've tested this on multiple networks (AT&T and T-Mobile).
The screen really lured me in. It's a beautiful phone. But its personality wreaks. Maybe Android 10 will fix these issues, but this is apparently a promise you can't put much stock into. I say pass on this phone until the update is released.

They are saying the price has been lowered to $200 and I wanted to do some research and see how old the phone was.
id like to know where it went?? its not on blus website anymore and its only available for refurbished on amazon.
Anonymous, 18 Jan 2020im thinking to buy itYou may wanna wait a bit. I think BLU will release a new phone with 48MP camera soon. The product description of the g9 pro on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/BLU-Smartphone-Triple-Camera-Nightfall/dp/B07VB5LDD1) has changed a bit.
"A.I Triple Camera 48MP + 2MP Depth Sensor + 8MP Wide Angle 120° Camera with flash, and 16MP Selfie camera"
I think its about a new phone.
What I don't get about this phone is that it says it has 18w fast charge, yet my lg Stylo 4 charges way more quickly then the N1 and the LG charger's a 10w
dbolly, 14 Sep 2019Yeah this isn't it. The Umidigi F1 Play has bigger 6GB RAM, 48MP camera, NFC, the same speed ... moreactually I bought this N1 to replace my umidigi F1. After having my F1 for only 6 months the charging port started acting up like every other smartphone I've ever owned. I also had a problem with the battery overheating and it got REALLY hot. Actually after that is when I started having charging problems and it probably melted something to do with that. Anyways....that's it. I will NEVER own another phone that doesn't have wireless charging. And the N1 has it and so far, its working GREAT. Not even going to bother returning the F1 for repair (still under 1 yr warranty) . In the trash it went.
I thought it would be a great phone like the S10+ but cheaper and it was really good until yesterday when the fast charging just stopped working. I tried changing cables and bricks and used other phones on my fast charger everything was fine except my phone. It was totally out of the blue and now I have to factory reset it or get a new one which sucks but until then my charging will be 3-4 times longer.
