Charging port and components on board went to shit less than 6 months after I got it and is not repairable! Under warranty but when you call Blu to find out how to get warranty coverage and send it in they give you the run around and you don't get answers! Too much hassle!

There are some really good blu phones out there. U just have to find one. Like the blu studio 5.0 SII. or the studio g plus. The life play is nice too.

The phone is the biggest piece of junk available right now. I have not even had mine for a month and so far its deleted over half my contacts, it restarts itself constantly, its got more lag than anything I've ever seen, the touchscreen has to be pressed repeatedly for it to sense the touch, it all of a sudden decided to stop sending text messages a few days ago and hasn't been able to send one since then, and the company's customer service is a joke to say the least. All they did was send me instructions on how to factory reset it. Who doesn't know how to factory reset a phone?! Besides, the reset did absolutely nothing to help it either. And remember, I have only just started my 3rd week of having the piece of junk. I'll never buy another Blu product for as long as I live.

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2015Does anyone know whether the lcd digitizer model L280a is compatible with blu life 8 model L27... moreno it wont work, do not buy the correct digitizer either, it takes a miracle to replace a broken digitizer on the blu life 8 L280. you should buy the complete screen+digitizer assembly. save yourself a world of pain and frustration.

Hottbilly, 25 Jul 2015This model , after doing some research found out that it has a manufacturing fault with the us... morefor the blu life 8 L280, I found out that u can get the sub board on aliexpress, just search for nibiru h1 sub board, it is the same phone different name... I ordered a sub board and it looked slightly different (the shape and position of the connectors is the same but the capacitors are arranged differently) but it works flawlessly, u shud try it out..

This model , after doing some research found out that it has a manufacturing fault with the usb port and getting the sub board is nearly impossible to get.

phonetech, 12 Jun 2015where is this store located in Half Way Tree?Hey "phonetech"! i did not see the other related comments but, i assume u need to know the Store in H.w.t. that u can get this cell, (incidentally i have one) That Store would be; TOP TREE MOBILE, its in Premiere Plaza next door to Scotiabank "Premiere branch". Its actually around to the back of the plaza, u can't miss it. 'Big Sign'. I got mine at a Store called "ACTION SPORTS" inside the Pavilion Plaza; they always have a lot of clothing right outside the doorway. Hope this helps if am not too late my info. The phone is "awesome" b.t.w. lol.
