Yes, you can connect to wifi without having service. However, you need service to activate the hotspot
Can I connect to home WiFi network or will I always need service? The specs states that it only has a WiFi hotspot feature so I'm not sure.
Anyone else have the same issue i previously posted about the front face camera?

I own two of these phones (me and my wife) and so far I have been very impressed with them. This is the first smart phone for my wife and my second, I had a Samsung Mini SIII. For light usage, txt, phone calls, facebook, web browsing it works great. For moderate usage all of the above plus through in some gaming and music it's okay. If you are heaving user and multi-tasker you should so get something with a little more RAM. It does lag a little when playing some games. As for Blu products I'm very impressed with price and new product lines. I would recomend trying Blu over the higher priced name brands. And I'm using this on Straight Talks Unlimited Plan. In short, worth the money for higher end averge phone.

When it freezes try holding down the volume control buttons and the power button at the same time and that should hard reset the phone.
the freezing is becoming a big issue, the phone freezes for no reason and takes forever to unfreeze. right now im looking at it frozen in stby mode with a full charge being frozen for the past 38 minutes.If it had a removable battery it wouldnt be so bad but its doesn't so i'm just gonna have to wait untill when ever it decides to resume or the battery dies. it's a great phone besides this but i think this is reason enough not to get one.
This phone sucks. The power button is in the wrong place. Everytime I'm on the phone I end up on the time and date screen and it changes. Hell half the time I don't know what time or what day it is cause of it. I've only had this phone for 2 months now and it won't keep charge and now my phone is frozen and I can't do nothing about it. I hate this phone because I've had nothin but trouble out of it. I do not recommend this phone anymore...
I love everything about this phone. I had the galaxy s4 and then the life play and the S makes all the difference in the world. However, when I had the life play showed the option on the screen above the flash to switch to front face camera. Now, with the S I have a lot more photo options but I cannot seem to find the option for the front face camera, even with snapchat. Anyone else have this proble, or anyone that can tell me where this very easy option can be activated? Thanks for the help

PROS:
* Really great value (price vs hardware)
* Really thin and lightweight
* Nice size screen 4.7" and hd resolution: 1280 x 720
* Gorilla glass!!!!
* Dual sim
* Includes screen protector and rubber case
* Good camera quality, the front one for selfies is 5MP!
* Loud speaker
* Size is perfect for one hand use for most people.
* great first sim antenna/signal
* 4GB internal and micro sd card slot
SO-SO:
* only 1GB of RAM.
* not that great second sim antenna/signal (but this is usual in many dual-sim phones)
* Not that good battery life, but it will last 8 to 10 hours of casual use.
* not user replaceable battery, we will find out it the battery is a problem or not later.
CONS:
* No KitKat update at the moment
* sporadic hangs
* no lte / 4g
OTHERS:
* included headphones we're really good looking and with good sound, but it seems the built quality is not, after 1 week one of the earbuds stop working.
* I bought it just some days after Life Play 8 was released on Amazon! Oh man!!!! Octacore 1.7ghz vs Quadcore 1.3ghz!
Have had one for the past 2 weeks and it works pretty well, though an additional Gig of RAM would have helped. So far its froze twice for a few seconds while loading and app but no other problem so far.The forward facing camera is great as well as the rear.All in all i'm pleased with my purchase so far, ill update if any other issues come up.
What is your experience with the permanent batteries vs at removable ones?
Quel est son prix
