I hope this message will help. One, the edge problem would be best understood this way. There are categories of frequency bands and not all bandwidth are supported in all countries. Example, most categories of 3G or 4G bands that work in Northern america are not in use in Nigeria. I got to understand this after I got a product which performed excellently in Pensylvania but was giving me edge in Nigeria. So, let us understand the frequency of our areas in Africa. Then our importers are not doing best either. They look for these phones that are cheap and end up buying configurations meant for other regions and bring them to a regions that do not have support facilities for it, some other times they bring in imitations. That's the second point I am making here. I have used this phone and my sister is using it now. The experience is different from what I am reading here. Note, I am not speaking for them. It could be that some of us on this page purchased a faulty product. Yes. But we need to beware before purchasing some of these products. We need to know the frequency categories very well. They come in classes and bands. From category one to over 40.

Gud day to u. I went to my service provider office to complain to them that I can only get EDGE on my phone instead of 3G. Only for me to show my new BLU XL phone to them and they told me is 2G phone not 3G. Am confused is there anything I can do to it or is there any place I had to go on my phone in order to get the setting. Plz help
This phone is unusable. I pruchased 2 for myself and my husband. They are less than one month old and are already out of storage. I have cleared my cache, downloaded no content, apps or taken any pictures. The storage is taken up by all the preinstalled apps and the OS. After a month of limping by, we no longer have space to install updates. Blu customer support was unhelpful and would not give us a refund. They only replace phones with the same model...so great, now we can have 4 useless phones! I will ever buy a Blu product again.

If you get no data at 3G, it's because of your network. #G will fall back to Edge if the signal is too weak. You should see 3G if you move closer to the tower or are in a less congested area.
HI ,my data is always at edge but when ever i switch to 3g the phone network will always go off until i change it back to edge. pls what should i do about it

Omg crappiest phone ever!!!stay away!!! It has no storage, I just downloaded a few apps which went onto the sd card and it says I only have 500mb left! And everything went wrong with it, kept shutting off, screen distorted, wont send emails, and when you delete apps you dont get any storage back. Took a month to get a new one sent to me and first day the phone kept shutting off which mean no alarm to wake me up for work! Im soooo pissed!! Oh yea and the email response they send out is standard that they send out to everyone so they wont help you
