I bought the BLU Studio 5.0 C D536u when it was available. It did not work as good as my previous cell by another carrier. Be as it may, I gave BLU the benefit of the doubt after consulting with the Retailer. I got another BLU model - an upgrade to the previous.
I found the support staff @ BLU UNACCEPTABLE -- NOT acknowledging emails; they seem to be only interested in selling their products.
I read an article that BLU has/had been having problems with some of their phones. It was noted sometime around October last year that sales of all BLU phones were suspended due to privacy and security concerns.
I later learned that BLU Products, Inc. Is NOT Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited. Hmmmnnn
It is a shame that we, the consumers, have to go through unnecessary poor service at a cost.

Battery life is too low - I have to recharge every day. If I leave it overnight without internet or wifi on, it still runs down to zero.
I purchase this phone on Amazon for about $80 and at that price, I'm quite happy with the phone. I had to root it as there isn't enough on-board memory.
A word of warning. Neither Clockwork Recovery nor TWRP will properly back up this device and there don't appear to be many options for flashing custom ROMs.
I'm going to give my email as I suspect there are a few people with questions. Feel free to ask but I'm in no way an expert; All I can tell you is what I experienced after rooting my device.
I had to return my 5.0 C HD FOR replacement, they returned to me a 5.0 c which will.not power on without I remove and replace e the battery, now they are telling me its the battery, Which I had to buy myself, when the new one arrives on Wednesday we will see what happens, and by the way there is no technical support after 5:30-PM ON FRIDAY UNTIL 9:30 Am, very unhappy with bon.
