Unfortunatly that version one will not work with an American sim since these sims require the D910a model of the phone.

Yes this phone does have a front facing camera for skyping or using Oovoo. I love this phone and it already has been upgraded to 4.1.1 Jellybean OS. I've owmed this phone for 5 weeks now and I love it. Got it on amazon.com dirt cheap. I got a leather pouch from a store in the UK, It's really nice and adds style to the phone, best of all it goes for around $8.00, look for it on ebay, use the following keywords "pull tab leather pouch blu vivo".
