When Microsoft completed the acquisition of Nokia's Devices & Services division last year, several devices including smartphones, smartwatches, as well tablets were reportedly cancelled. However, one of those devices - the Mercury tablet - has now showed up in a leaked render (shown below).

The render image was leaked by the usually reliable leakster @evleaks. From what can be seen, the tablet features a front as well as a rear camera, and also comes with what looks like a SIM card slot. Overall, the device looks more like a phone than a tablet.
Unfortunately, no other details including those related to the tablet's specifications were revealed in the leak.
I want a phone with a style of Surface. With gold windows logo in the back..
Nokia probably had to put a hold on a lot of what it was working on following the acquisition, and now that the lumia's have been launched they can start working on what they were doing before
