Surely lots of people wonder about the quality of the 12MP ExmorR sensor on the Sony's Xperia S.
Unfortunately, photo quality is not stellar at this early stage. The way we see it, the resolved detail is good enough, but it could have been even better. Noise levels are quite high too, but at least the colors and contrast seem OK.
We suggest we don’t pass any judgments just yet because the Xperia S is still two months ahead of its release and a lot could happen until then. And there is an ICS update on the way to be released a few weeks after the launch in March as well.
Thanks for the tip, Peter!
there is only 1 gap in this Sony Xperia S smartphone that the LED flash light, but it would be awsome if it would be xenon flash.

wait!! I thought SONY produce 16mp and 8mp camera modules, then why this is 12mp? maybe they finally woke up that is not the mega pixel but its the sensor size, 16mp or 12mp is a crap if the sensor size is very tiny even its backlit sensor.
