I Have two gtalk ids,
but i am unable to sign out from the 1st one so i could log in with the other id! every time i open gtalk it signs me in on the default id :( disabled the automatic sign in option but still no uise...

I faced similar issue when I
a. had incorrect settings using SetCPU overclocks. Try removing the Battery and SIM card when the phone hangs.
b. downloaded a 1G clip online. It somehow screwed up my accelorometer and touchscreen. Try performing a factory reset then re-init the touchscreen

The 5" display makes it a cross between a tablet & phone, hence mini-tablet.
I use it daily for whatsapp, sms, phone calls (to the ear).
I didn't flash the firmware but I did root it and currently on Dell's stock Froyo.
SDcard basically just functions as flash, just plug and play. Anything without itunes is a plus
Downside is the 5mpix camera sux, but it isn't a showstopper for me especially when the rest of the phone performs so well :) no regrets

Another solution to the constant reloading of mobile versions of web pages everytime you run the browser is to download and install 'dolphin web browser hd' from the android market.
It has an option to display web pages as desktop sites rather than the mobile versions.

If you go to the url bar at the top when browsing the web. Type:
about:debug
then press go. Although nothing appears to happen, bring up the menu and you will notice a couple of extra options.
Click 'settings' then scroll all the way to the last option.
Click on that, then select desktop.
This stops the Streak from defaulting to mobile versions of sites.
The only downside is that you need to do this each time you exit the browser (unless you press the 'home' key to exit).
