hey i have got a question about this handset, how to select 3g network in this phone ? i have got gsm, wcdma , gsm / wcdma , gsm only , wcdma only ? i am not getting any usage of the 3g service

i used to be a phone sales technician and have always stuck with nokia but this seemed the only half decent phone on the list of insurance phones i could get. I got my dell streak a week ago and at first thought what the hell have i bought it is big and complicated but but after about 4 days of usage it really grows on you, it does become very easy to use, it has everything on it combining the use of a laptop and a phone in one. when playing music on the loud speaker at full volume it can distort a little but once plugged into earphones or stereos it sounds just as good as an iphone, the internet is slow to load but once it has been updated with android 2.2 it is extremely quick there are also some touch sensor issues with android 1.6 but again a free upgrade from the dell website fixes this. the antenna is great i get full coverage as apposed to my nokia e71 with the same network in my house. the camera is good but it needs a better image stabiliser, but with only having a 5mpg cam if u wanted a phone with a good cam ud probably go for a cybershot(sonyerricsson) other than that the only real negative about it is that bluetooth does not send or recieve media of anysort it only seems to connect to computer or handsfree bluetooth.
all in all terrific phone i love it now and after being an avid nokia person i have now been changed and iv used many phones, deffinatly recommend this phone if ur looking for a tablet style phone

One more thing i forgot to mention about this dumb device is this doesn't have Bluetooth file transfer functionality. I have been given 3 brand new devices in a month all of them died after sometimes. I just expecting i am going to get 4th one. GUYS NOT WORTH INVESTING SUCH amount for this phone. Let Dell work on it first.

I bought this phone and found my self cheated. This device has not been tested properly before releasing it.
The Device heats up a lot from the ear phone area. you can't use it for a long phone call or a 30 minute video. I got it replaced 3 phones. I found all of them faulty. All were new units. First one got heating problem. Second one had a white strip on the screen after sometime of use and third one also got heating problem. Don't buy it. not worth the money.

Radio is there or not and why dont this streak is not come with dual sim because dell products are customised.

Amrit, I suggest you to add 3k to your current budget and go for HTC Desire as it is the best mobile under 30K. If you want to stick to the same budget go for motorola milestone.
