Amrit, I suggest you to add 3k to your current budget and go for HTC Desire as it is the best mobile under 30K. If you want to stick to the same budget go for motorola milestone.

we all recognize dell.It is a good brand,not much costlier,good features at a bare minimum etc,but in mobile phones and tablet segment Dell wants to improve their design of handsets,add more features,increase advertisement for publicity.Many people still don't know about dell mobile phones and tablet.That is not good for Dell.Some people are complaining about dell's products,they say it is china assembled rebranded to dell.that also not better for dell.

Charly, 03 Dec 2010Please help me how to upgrade DELL streak to 2.2froyo. How to get those software for manual up... moreThis is the official one. Type the url exactly in your browser. You can use wifi of 3g OR download it to your computer and rename it to update.pkg.
1. Download the pkg file from http://mobileupdate.dell.com/PackageProductionLocations/Streak_309_0_00.pkg
2. Copy it to your sdcard.
3. Rename it to Update.pkg
4. Turn off your phone.
5. Hold down the volume up, volume down and power button together until it turns on.
6. Select option 2 ‘Software upgrade via Update.pkg on SD Card’ by using your volume buttons and select with the shutter button.
7. Think, did you remember to backup?
8. Press the shutter button to begin.
9. Rejoice! If nothing went wrong, you should have booted up into Froyo.

So i wanna know for surw,does dell is supporting bluetooth file transfer out of the box?I was testing the Streak in one local cell phone shop in my country.I was sending file FROM MY PHONE to Streak and the file that i sent was recognized and played on the Streak.So does is possible to send files FROM THE STREAK to any bluetooth enabled device(cell phone,smartphone,notebook,laptop,tablet pc etc) withou any kind of additional app????Pls answer me right because i want to buy the streak very soon

I just got the upgrade to froyo. It's better os but it doesn't customized the os to fit on Dell's screen size. It looks the os is still in beta virsion...disappointed.
