i'm new on my DS and i've troubled by the bluetooth connection. i've already paired and connected with other device, but everytime i send or receive something, my bluetooth connection always reject and turn off automatically. any suggest, anyone?..

whats the use of 5 inch display if it cannot pay divx and xvid video formats.and no document editor,plzzzz dell do something about it if you can fix this i'll buy the phone without any bargain.it will also beat n8 and samsung omnia hd for sure.

After i received it i call Dell tech support, give them service tag, and IMEI, then they connect me to AT&T, which give me the code to unlock the network right away.
now my streak is full unlocked to any network.

The phone is awesome !! Top notch business fone !! waiting for the froyo update in INdia heard its outrageous frm my frnds abroad !!! the gorilla screen is awesome !!! huge display and IT IS POCKETABLE FOR SURE !!! Galaxy is not so !!! i wud give it 4.5 outta 5 !!! waitin fer froyo !!!

... moreThe difference is that with TV one can sit at diferent distances from it to adjust to the screen size, on the other hand cellphone or tab you are always handling it, so the distance of your eyes to the gadget is always the same.
This critic I extent to Galaxy pad and Ipad too, both have too low resolution for their size. Just to ilustrate, Iphone 4 with 3,5" (960x640) has almost the resolution de Ipad 9,7" (1024x768), although the latter has a screen area 7 times bigger.

I too experienced it and later observed that I was holding the phone in such a way that my hand or sometimes a finger was covering the sensors. They are light sensitive and if u cover them while u have an incoming call, the screen becomes dark and non responsive.

Hi Everyone,
I have only owned this phone for a 5 days and its giving me grief when I try to answer a incoming call.
I tap and tap and sometimes the call runs out before I get to answer, does anyone else have trouble.

I dont understand this hardware. What is the point of getting a 5" screen size cellphone/tab with the same 800x480 resolution screen of a smaller cellphone like galaxy S, or even worse comparing to 854x480 from Xperia X10. I think one get a bigger screen to put more content inside, but in this case one get the bigger screen but it doesnt add more resolution.
I can imagine only one reason to need this screen and it is in case of poor sight that demand bigger pixels.
To be fair and worth, it should be 1024x600.

so you will have to get the update by searching the internet

the infos on google....
1. Download the Android 2.1 for Dell Streak and rename it into “Update.pkg”.
2. Connect the cellphone to the PC using an USB cable and copy the Update.pkg file onto the root of your microSD card ( not into a folder ).
3. Power Off the smartphone.
4. Now hold down the “Volume Up” button and power up the phone. This will take you into the recovery mode. Choose the second option in the menu.
5. Wait for the process to complete and for the phone to restart.
