nathan, 14 Sep 2010any word on the upgrade to 2.1????? i dnt get mine till friday and they had removed iti got my dell Streak 16Gb last week and it came with android 2.3 ready installed on it :)

Firstly, some People might say that this is not a Phone, but I'm glad that it's on Here. :).
However, I'm pretty sure that the Internal Memory, is only 2GB.
The Streak 16GB. Does come with a 16GB. Memory Card, but I'm still pretty sure that the Internal Memory, is still only 2GB.

Anonymous, 03 Sep 2010Whats the difference between streak beta n an unlocked streak? Thx a bunchThe Unlocked one, means that You can use ANY SIM. Card, inside of it... In Theory.
You would need either an Unlock Code, Rebel SIM. or the Lines of Code required, in order to Unlock the Streak, otherwise.
If You're happy to be tied down to a Network, because You have a Contract anyway, it probably doesn't matter...
Until You go abroad, and find that Your Network, charges more than a Pre-Pay SIM. From that Country would.

Anonymous, 03 Sep 2010U will also need to update d rebel sim II to v 1.2 I received my dell streak. Now upgraded and rooted to 2.1 O2 official firmware. installed with igo my way 2009 with middle east 3d maps. gps catching sooper fast but need little adjustment with screen resolution. anybody have igo or motanov apk files dedicated for streak? also any suggetion to buy ROBUST FORM FIT CASE cheaper. coz ebay selling more than 70$.
