I have made a vodep and posted on xda forum so that all my friends here can be helped in upgrade process from 2.2 to 2.3 custom rom.Read everuthing 3 times before u proceed for update.

Used for a week. Good experience. When I received new phone, speaker did not work. With a personal visit, Dell mobile support replaced the handset in 2 days. That is good customer service.

Upgraded from 2.2 Froyo stock to 2.3.7 Gingerbread (CM7)
Now works awesome and has more control over it than ever.
Awaiting 4.0 for above.

Myne is Android 2.2.2 with OEM Version GTOUB1A132500, I am unable to Root the phone using SuperOneClick. Can you please provide me the update steps, I mean using which app you have rooted and updated to 2.3

veer, 11 May 2012does any one know who is using dell venue that "how many speakers does this set have?&quo... moreyes in dell venue only one speaker works , other speaker i think is a dummy, it,s and amazing phone, good speed, amazing screen, but little dispointed with the 8 mp camera, it,s not upto the mark, a 5mp camera of samsung phone will be much better than 8 mp of dell venue , i will give 8.5 out of 1o to dell venue
