i have dvp and i am having trouble is sharing internet to the laptop. i am trying to connect it through htc files but seems to be stuck in between. i was referring following website http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/get-usb-tethering-on-dell-venue-pro/
all thou i was able to complete up-to 12th step but not the 11th one i don't know why? if you could be able to provide me the edit format that will be very help full.

Anyone using the set who have updated their sets to wp 7.8 tried to root the phone?
If anyone using the cellphone have done so or tried please post your opinion about rooting and also let me know the process.
because xda developers have only provided the root process for samsung, nokia, htc ans some other cells but not for dell.
So if anybody have any idea about it please let me know. I really looking forward to root my cell.

u have to update your phone because currently your phone
version is very old u have to connect your phone with laptop with internet connection than automatically your phone will be update with new version. ok.............

SANJAY, 24 Mar 2013sir i have this mobile but due to some probblems storage card iwas damaged and now i have cha... moreIf you have previous backup of your phone in zune software , you can restore it.Press camera,volume down and power button at the same time and image of phone with usb cable and laptop will be displayed on screen and from there you can connect usb cable and open zune software and restore.If you have not backup any time, then you will need to flash your phone as part of the WP7 boot process depends on the files on storage card too.

i have this phone but the problem i find is that it only downloads things from microsoft only if u want to download music u han=ve to download another aoo and then install the music in that app hence please can u mkodify it so that it can download things from all sources

qlbreeze, 06 Mar 2013this best thing to do is download "Whats the app" it allows you to download files ... morebut i want to send video to my friends who have whatsaap but in windows phone i am unable to do so. i can only a video after recording it at that very moment. Do you know any other app on windows market which can help me in this?

it allows you to download files of reasonable size regardless of the OS the phones are running. However, if you want to download files to yourself the best thing to do is upload them to SkyDrive through Microsoft.
