Developer unearths evidence of Nokia 900 Windows Phone

Nokia Windows Phone Touch UI Rumors

Is this the first Nokia Windows Phone handset naming confirmed? Apparently, there was a developer that was using Remote Device Access to mess with a Nokia N9 and when he entered Bluetooth connections he saw "Nokia 900 Windows Phone" in the list of nearby devices.

Admittedly, the video that you are about to see is not that hard to fake. It could as well end up an elaborate prank, but if it's not we now have yet another piece of the puzzle.

Registered Nokia developers might follow this link to try to replicate the experiment.

Come to think of it, it would make complete sense for Nokia to name their WP smartphone the 900, as it would indicate that it sits higher in the pecking order than the 701 Belle flagship. With Nokia betting so heavily on the Microsoft platform, we can't imagine it will try to push their upcoming Windows Phone smartphone as anything other than premium.

Nokia World is just a month and a half away now, so there's not too long remaining until the curtain is lifted. Here's hoping it will be worth all the hype!
