Google Android

DisplayMate came out with a full review of the Google Pixel 4 XL's notch-less 90Hz OLED screen and the results are great. Surely, it's not the first phone with a great OLED panel but it sets a few benchmarks for its rivals to reach.

DisplayMate: Google Pixel 4 XL's display is perfectly calibrated

For starters, DisplayMate says it has the highest absolute color accuracy on a smartphone with 0.5 JNCD, which is virtually indistinguishable from perfect. It also has the highest image contrast accuracy and intensity scale accuracy.

Moreover, the phone's display brightness is independent of the image content and it adjusts to the proper color gamut to display the image content. Speaking of brightness, DisplayMate found that the peak brightness is 444 nits for the whole screen area.

We suspect that this number is with manual adjustment of the slider so using the Max Auto feature, the Pixel 4 XL might go beyond that. We will make sure to test this one out in our upcoming review.

And for more bits and details surrounding the Pixel 4 XL's screen, check out DisplayMate's full review at the source link down below.

If GSMArena dealt with trolls their boards would be 50-70% quieter.

So many people hating on Sony... in an article about Google Pixel 4? GSM Arena's moderators should deal with so many trolls. In any case, I'm sure what makes this screen so good is Google's proprietary programming, yet the Google Pixel is like a...
