UK carriers EE, Vodafone, and Three UK have announced today that they will offer the new iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus to buyers on pre-order before it officially goes on sale on September 19. All three carriers will start taking pre-orders on September 12, a full week before the official launch.
The new phones will also be available from other UK carriers, such as O2, giffgaff, Virgin, and TalkMobile, but others haven't announced availability yet.
No carrier prices have been announced so far although you can get them unlocked for £539, £619, and £699 for the iPhone 6 and £619, £699, and £789 for the iPhone 6 Plus for the 16, 64 and 128GB models, respectively.
Thanks Jayne for sending this in.
Typical Apple Hater! lol
Iphone5 32gb upfront was £78 on release day with Three on a £37pm plan and if you ordered via Quidco you got £98 cashback so you actually made money. With no 32gb iphone6 model offered I suspect it maybe nearer to £100 handset...
