Recently, Huawei began pushing the latest EMUI 10 update (based on Android 10) to both the Huawei P30 and the Huawei P30 Pro in the UK. Of course, the unlocked variants began receiving the update way back in November, but today it looks like the Huawei P30 Lite will begin being updated to EMUI 10.
Thanks to a tip from a reader, we’ve been notified that the Huawei P30 Lite has started receiving the Android 10 update in South Africa. The update is large at 3.82 GB and offers all the Android 10 features, along with EMUI-specific ones like system-wide dark mode, improved performance, new rounded icons, and HiCar in supported markets.
If you’ve got a Huawei P30 Lite, let us know if you see the update. Leave us a comment with the name of the country you’re seeing the update notification. To check for updates, head to Settings > System > Software Update.
Thanks for the tip, Jp Taljaard!
Am in Tanzania, my Huawei p30lite is still 9.1, I want to upgrade to 10.1 please, i have tried to upgrade but it doesn't work out
Hello. That is a lie. I updated my p30 lite and it has everything. It even runs fast
On Huawei p30 lite it works. If you upgrade, everything will work as usual. It is only that I feel the phone is slower to connect on the internet. This may not be caused by upgrading.
