A new Xiaomi handset has been spotted listed on TENAA's website. Dubbed Mi 2014816, the device is an entry-level smartphone that is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz processor and sports a 4.7-inch display with 1280x720 pixel resolution.
It comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory (expandable up to 32GB), and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat. In terms of camera, the Mi 2014816 features an 8MP rear unit and a 2MP front shooter.
Measuring 134x67.21x9.2 (mm) and weighing in at 134g, the handset comes in red, orange, yellow, green black, and white color options. Connectivity support includes Bluetooth, GPRS, GPS, and GSM, TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE, and USB.
Of course tallies with redmi 1s or 2 and android kitkat is a good workhorse no doubt. Perhaps Xiaomi has used a different chipset (mediatek?) in this model so that its major problems of heating and battery drain in 1s or 2 is "solved" in spite of MIU...
