This phone was exactly the same as GF337, BeoCom 9600 GSM and a Sharp phone. Iv`e changed covers and button-pad many times on these. They all had Bang&Olufsen speaker/mic, but the software was different!

Thi... moreIt was a great phone, i got one not long after the digital network started up. there was no other mobile phone on the market that that was anything near its size and the quality was next to none. from memory, i think i paid around & $800 (Australian) and it was worth every cent!

Anyone that wasn't around when this phone was released doesn't know what they're on about. This phone was the smallest, best looking, most advanced and most expensive phone at the time. It was one of the first digital phones as well. Mobiles were analogue up until then in Australia. Take a look at other phones in 1995 before making disparaging remarks. Phone makers and consumers wanted smaller and smaller phones. This trend started with this phone and didn't change until Web browsing and touch screens reversed the trend where larger phones and screens are preferred.

It still powers up BUT I cant remember the code for the PHONE LOCKED BIT !!!
Anyone kind enough to help with this.

Sorry to prove you wrong, but this phone only had the capability to RECIEVE SMS, not sending.
The sending function was added in the GH388 :)

Wow, great phone. Sometimes the antenne broke when putting the phone in the pockets of your trousers!
