I have bought 3 R320, The 1st one I lost it. 2nd one I bought to replace my lost phone. unfortunately it has bad receiption. get it back to shopper but they do not help at all to repair since they have no other stock to replace R320 for me. I could not get refund for buying junk ericson from them. I did not complaint to the consumer bodies because the shop owner is my friend's friend. Ericson gives no support on after sales- not in Tawau. Because I love so much to use this model I bought another one but still it gives problem. keypad can only access the 1st 3 menus and jammed on the other 4 manues. If only you guys can support me to repair for my R320 I will still buy Ericson phone.
I bougt it for $50 external kbd. and batt. replacement included. Works fine especially I like the accepted calls list, so nobody cand bug me when I don't want. Just uploaded my address list from my palm with minimum hassle via IR. For this price is just fine. People... Try to live good & cheapo.
Hi, i am an Ericsson user why is it dat R320 keep hanging for a long period of time ? How do i get to know the colour features e.g changing the colour to atlantic blue, stone purple. Why is there no funky ringtones ?
I want to know how to do for a new melody installation with my R320 Ericsson .
Can you send cell phone type can be used in hazardous area (oil or gas explosion proof).
I've bought the phone for only...30$(used of course), comparing with Nokia 6210 the menu it's a little occured, and it is a pitty that it has so less ringtones but overall for this price it's a very good phone. Only the weak battery could be a problem.
this is god phone.....can i upgrade my sms character from 160 to ....? but how....anybody can help me please?
this phone rulz!anyone who think that it sux-duhaite go pod voda dokato izsahne!
I never thought I'd come back here to actually WRITE something about R320. Up till now, I've only read other opinions about it, but never had my own, 'cause I didn't have the my own phone, I had only friends with this type of mobile phone. But now things changed: I'm the proud owner of an R320s. It's green-blue, and it's plain FANTASTIC. Here in Romania it's available for a mere 50 euros, (second hand or refurbished of course). But I'm totally content with its business features, the IR port, and all it has. I've got it with an ultra slim LiPolymer battery, with 3 days stand by and about 2,6 h talk time(these are my tested times, not what the phone actually reports...), considering that the phone is older than 1 year. It's just what I've always wanted, a bleeding cheap, yet business orientated phone(or should I say PDA, 'cause it's what I truly consider it to be, with that wonderful calendar feature)...:) So, don't get any ideas about the size or weight of it, it's damn lite and slim; true , it's a bit long especially to that antenna of his, but sincerely, i don't mind. The WAP works juuuust fine, anyway, a lot better than the nokia 6210, which keeps returning error message(using the same sim card and settings of course). What you(the potential buyer) should bare in mind is: the slow software(wich becomes even slower or freezes in cold temperature(-5 and donwards)). There are mainly only advantages on buying this phone, as far as I'm concerned...so, thank you Ericsson.
The phone is powerful in many cases where the network was poor I was able to call.Connection to internet is my problem noinfrared facilities& slow connection through the the cable modem.
It's slow!
Software problems!
My R320 has blocked and I can't make it work!
Good batery!
I've recently bought it for 89$ (new, VAT included). It was the only smart choice: ridiculously cheap but full of business features I needed. That is, good calendar with day, week and month, built-in infrared modem to connect my notebook even in the middle of the forest, pre-defined profiles for various circumstances (from silent to outdoors), calendar/PIM synchronisation with MS Outlook. WAP is there but it's a kind of useless for regular browsing but it's good to check your web-based e-mail account when in emergency without laptop on you. All the drawbacks mentioned by other reviewers are either irelevant for me or correctable: I don't care about SMS so the slow keypad is not a problem and if I suddenly become an SMS addict I can buy a chatboard; the default ultraslim LiPolymer battery lasts only 55h in standby, but if you want more you can get for 22$ a high capacity 1500mAh battery that lasts 5 days.
Other things I like about this phone: the clock alarm works even if the phone is turned off (that means you can save battery time), great display quality, the battery is smart enough to show you on the display the precise time remaining before you need to recharge, and the thinness of the phone which makes more elegant than it looks in pictures.
What I don't like is the antenna but I can live with it (but perhaps, the good reception quality may have something to do with it)
it's a beautiful phone especially if you are tired of seeing nokia phones like here in the philippines. but the software is slow. but i make really great use of the calendar and the standby & talktimes displayed on the phone.
