the battery performance doesnt like what gsm arena said, my ericsson R600 battery can stand by only 48 hour, why?
Oh, yes, I forgot to mention. The problem with the R600 is not the battery, but the phone itself. For example, the fuel consumption on a 5.0liter car is greater than a 1.5liter car, therefore, the theory is that the R600 consume alot of power. I know it for the fact that the Ericsson T32m uses the same battery but it last and last and last and last.
Hi, I just got the Ericsson R600. I have the phone but hate the battery life. I want to know if it can use a third party batteries. I know that the std battery is only 700mhz. I was thinking of using a higher mhz. Don't know if it will help to boost the performance of the phone.
I read that some people have problems with the battery. In the beginning I had the same problems, but I put "light" on "automatic" and not on "on." Before I had a standby time of about 1 day, now I have a standby time of 3 to 4 days. "on" means that the light of your mobile is on 24 hours a day. You can imagine that the battery won't last long then.
a bug infested phone. try writing an SMS with some usual characters, then insert one of the large pictures (weather), then go back to the beginning of message and insert an unusual character (like the one that follows the letter s). try to delete this character...
R600 is the coolest mobile in this world! It easy to use too...perfect mobile for teenagers!
I'm about to buy it in two weeks. And I wanna know that if r600 has datalink cable in box and software for sync data with computer.
well i think it's a very good phone we can call it a value for money, it has a lot of options and the size is small ..but the phonebook view style shloud be better that this i mean must be like how it is in nokia phones ..and i think there is a nother problem ..when you open a menu and a submenu too fast the phone goes to hang so you have too be slow when you use this phone..some other thing the battery is too weak it has a 700 amp. but it longs only one day in a very normal use..
i think its great on of the first realy good mobile phones from ericsson much better than nokia.
To RANHEIM (6310i)...ARE U NUTS..??!!
i bet u dont have that 6310i..!! this phone is nothing compares to 6310i, e.g.no IrDA, Java Applications, Bluetooth and battery life (compares to 17 days..!! for 6310i). u full of crap...
hi...i fell inlove with this phone the moment i saw it...but i'm worried about it's stability ...the battery life i can live with :) but it hangs??? i need the type of phone that can send sms that is 100% reliable...is this the phone for me????
I got this phone when it launch and sold off on the third day. The phone hanged oftenly on the second day, battery time last me 1 day and the key buttons is like rubber which need to press hard. Great Design but the keypads really spoil the phone and hope the software that can improved as well as the battery performance.
I want to use it but i don't have money to buy it in my country, the price is so expensive for me, would you like to send it for me free, please!
The R600 has no T9, instead you find something like iText wich is not that goog working at all :-(
Everything is excellent, user friendly, except the battery life, hope that SonyEricsson will
come out better battery for R600 soon.
If I can cancel buying Fisio 620, I will chose this phone for my wife. Better fitures and more eassy at the same price. (in Indonesia)
Hi to all Ericsson cellphones user,
Just got the R600 for 2 wks & I do agreed the design is excellent, slighly smaller and it fits my palm just right. The feature wise its pretty cool. The moment i saw it I wanted it. I've got the ice blue colour. As for the price is reasonable. I was once a NOKIA user but after my experince using the Ericsson R520m, it was an excellent phone. The battery last longer. But I'm quite disappointing to find the battery for R600 only manage to last 2 days only. Can't SonyEricsson do something with the battery or perhaps come out with a long lasting battery for R600? R600 is much more value for money than the Nokia phone.
Well I own the phone for about 1 month now and I find the design to be excellent, slightly smaller and more curves than the 8850. Overall it's a very good phone, considering the price of around RM 700 (US$184.00). I've got the luminuous champagne and it's very cool (changes colour on different angle). Has 3 backlight colour (my favourite's the orange color), 250 memory, GPRS, eZiText Input (T9) (without dictionary!!), Chinese Input and 8 personal melodies. What more can you ask of for that sort of price? One thing though, the battery life has been quite disappointing only manage to last for 2 days max (only 1 day with WAP). If you're not the technology geek who don't mind not having infrared, bluetooth, dictionary, voice call etc... this phone is for you.
