Ryan, 20 Jan 2009US$550 in Taiwan??? I think it would be around $700 in rest of the world. So that means it will probably be 700 Pounds in Rip-Off Britain.... if they don't hurry up and release it in the UK I'll be going to Samsung for my dual-sim
At the moment there is one at ebay.de for 900$
Too much i think
Incredible expensive, poor quality, outdated technology.
For the enclosed features it is far to heavy. Only 3MP camera and no comments on battery. Compared to Nokia this thing is crap.

jordan, 23 Dec 2008The phone is "in stock" in the Netherlands.Jorda, what's the price of DX900 in Netherland?
Very nice phone. It has everything I need for a mobile phone. Hopefully this phone will be completed manufacturing by the end this year.
you wrote : I Bought this phone about 2 weeks back already.
If you looking at this phone purely because of the fact that it can support dual sim 3G then get it. Apart from that, there is nothing special about this phone and rather slow actually. Battery life Barely sufficient for a day assuming you have 2 numbers and make alot of calls.
could anyone pls tell me how I can buy this phone and where?

If so .....can u please tell me where.......and is there a website to see the phone and the price?
Thanks
I have played with the phone and didn't buy it in the end. Other than the dual SIM, the phone speaker was also a plus point - nice and loud, and not to mention the photo light for the 3.2 MP Camera. The main reason I didn't buy was because of the RAM - on bootup, program memory was only about 35MB. My Touch Cruise (with similar 128 MB RAM rating), had 60 MB on bootup. I reckon soft resets might be a frequent activity on phone - Just my 2 sen worth.
How nice of this unit handling 2 sim cards at a time, with Windows Mobile 6.1, integrated camera, GPS and configured by Acer. One of the greatest phone in the market.
Am I the only person who would love to buy this when it (eventuly comes out) but it doesn't have a keyboard?
I would be lost without the keyboard on my current WM phone but I would love to get this Eten so I can ditch my second phone (such a pain to have to carry 2 phones everywhere).
Acer bought Eten... maybe thats y its taking so long for this cell to hit the market...

Does anybody know the specifications of the battery?
Capacity?
Stand-by?
Talk time?
