There is a big shopping centre called Low Yat in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia which sells all the latest hi-tech gadgets. Last known price for it was RM2,450 plus some free gifts but you can try to bargain for more. Received indications from the local distributor that it won't be supported soon nor will it be part of their future product range. Not sure who will take over the distribution for it.
I was actually justifying my purchase of the xda exec...cost twice as much and underperforms...wtf. And it's huge as hell (exec)...
M600 has so many software tweaks, lots of details, makes me envy...this actually has what makes a device different than others. not as much how it looks but what it can do...
But wtf is with the keys not being backlit ?? Infrared can kiss my a$$.
Eaten: RM2,450? Where exactly in Malasyia? Planning to go there and buy this phone.
* No infrared;
* No dedicated soft key buttons;
* Keys are not backlit.
i disagree with all your comments, this phone is the wrong side of mediocre and is the symbol of the evils of chav and geek culture combined, do not buy this phone love gloria x x x x x x x p.s. trev likes it all the more reason not 2 buy this phone
Found a comprehensive review of it here: http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/articles.php?action=expand,44578:dont_paginate,1
Widely available at RM2,450 in Malaysia wth some little free gifts thrown in too. Almost every gadget shop that sells the premium O2/Dopod PDA phone is also selling it. Won't be surprised if it sells more than the others since it is the cheapest around with the most value-for-money features included.
It costs almost the same as a notebook. But it is quite powerful and highly mobile to be carried to almost anywhere you want.
Hi there. I just found out that this phone has a built-in GPS system. cool huh. It's gonna be launched in M'sia on 2/12/2005
This device has exactly the same cpu as the M500.That means that is a 400Mhz cpu running at 572Mhz. That's very fast device
ya not bad for a PDA this phone is simply great just that its 65k color:D
True Saeed, but for its target audience, it has pretty much everything you could need. Quad-band, SD/SDIO slot, 128MB flash ROM, reasonably capable CPU, wi-fi, bluetooth,... and of course the features of standard PDAs. I think well done Eten, they've put forward a well-rounded, good looking, (seemingly) capable device.
