HTC unveiled a duo of mid-rangers at the MWC - the Desire 816 set for an April launch and the Desire 610 for May. The Desire 816 has been well-received in China where it costs just $310, but the price in Europe seems to be steeper.
Amazon Germany has listed both new Desire devices, confirming their European pricing in the rpocess. The HTC Desire 816 is priced at 370. The 5.5 phablet is also available at another German site at 400.
The HTC Desire 610 is 300 at Amazon Germany. Note that those are pre-order prices and there is no launch date info available.
Thanks to Taher for sending this in!
Students use s4 s5 and iphone 5s nowadays
The European government has implemented heavy taxes on foreign goods and since most of the phones are made in China, the transportation cost in other countries add up to the final price of the product. Maybe, that's why it costs more in Europe.
popular for student maybe.
