Samsung Android Rumors

Europe, you're getting an Exynos-powered Galaxy S24 series. According to noted tipster Ice Universe the decision has been made. It makes sense, given that previous Galaxy S flagships in Europe have been Exynos-only.

The tipster then goes on to confirm the specs of the Exynos 2400's processor. The Cortex-X4 prime core will run at a peak of 3.16GHz, then the two Cortex-A720 cores will run at 2.9GHz, then another three Cortex-A720 at 2.6GHz, and finally four Cortex-A520 at 1.95GHz.

These specs line up with the previous leak, detailing the upcoming Exynos 2400 chip.

This would mean that markets outside of Europe will get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with a similar CPU configuration.

Ice Universe goes on to say that the Galaxy S24, S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a peak brightness of 2,500 nits - seemingly confirming another rumor.

Finally, per the report, the Galaxy S24+ will have a screen resolution of 3120x1440px.

Not buying one then. Don't like how Samsung gives Europeans the finger. Weaker processor, larger price. Nah. Will go elsewhere then if they're going to do that to us again. Or possibly import a Qualcomm one.

2400 is 4LPP samsung fab process, ~10% better performance, ~20% better power. performance are not easy to predict, but 3LPP was quite bad at power and throttling (2100, tensors...) compared to GEN 2 tsmc process. fab process, but also memo...
