vivo is announcing the new X30 lineup next month and the company has been ramping up its teaser campaign for the past few weeks. We already know what the back will look like with its periscope shooter, but today the official Weibo account revealed the first lifestyle shots of the phone.
The vivo X30 is seen in Red and Pearl White/Aurora gradient, starring Liu Wen, one of the most famous Chinese supermodels.
vivo claims the X30 will be the phone both for professional shots and its 60x zoom, and a fashion accessory to complement your outwear. The reddish variant (that some might say is more Coral than Red) and the Gradient both are colored in such a specific way that you can see the 2.5D curved edges of the back panel.
The vivo X30 will also come in a 5G version, meaning it will be the first time the X lineup will support the next-generation networks across China. Currently, there is only one vivo smartphone that does the job and that’s the NEX 3 5G that we reviewed last month.
The vivo X30 is expected to have an Exynos 980 chipset and JoviOS - a rebranded version of the FuntouchOS, likely based on Android 10.
