Realme U1 was announced earlier today as the first smartphone in the world with Helio P70 chipset. It is being marketed as India’s Selfie Pro with its 25 MP front-facing shooter, backed up by the Sony IMX576 sensor, borrowed from the way more expensive and powerful Oppo RX17 Pro and Oppo Find X.
The video focuses on the camera capabilities, including India-customized AI Beauty+ mode and smarter “Groupfie”.
Other specs of the Realme U1 include 6.3” Full HD+ screen with a notch that Realme calls “Dewdrop”. December 5 is the scheduled market launch for the phone - it can be purchased for as low as INR11,999 ($215/€190) on Amazon and plenty of offline retailers.
