Nokia Symbian Symbian S60 Touch UI

A few weeks back there were some speculations about Symbian's future but as it seems, Nokia aren't keen on leaving the most popular smartphone OS in the mud. Instead, Symbian OS is on its way to a total makeover just like Windows Mobile.

Just a couple of weeks ago we told you what to expect from Symbian^3 OS and while you're waiting for the first devices based on it to be unveiled (sometime in 2010, Q3) you can take a look at something even better: two videos demonstrating what changes the new Symbian^4 will bring along.

Unfortunately, the videos don't show any noticeable innovations as compared to competing platforms - it's all just a bunch of homescreens and widgets.

The case in Hong Kong is just like Canada. Over here, we have all 3 major telcos selling the iPhone. As a result the iPhone is really, really becoming popular. And it's become the new upgrade path for anybody that had a dumbphone before. And that...
