Google Android

The Pixel 4 smartphones, expected to arrive in two weeks, have leaked piece by piece. Now 9to5Google obtained the full specs sheet, revealing all you need to know about the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.

One thing that immediately grabs the attention is the battery capacity - the Pixel 4 will have 2,800 mAh, while the 4 XL will come with a 3,700 mAh power cell. That’s a bit of a setback, since the Pixel 3 had a 2,915 mAh unit, while the Pixel 3a rounded up to 3,000 mAh. The 4 XL variant is also nothing spectacular, matching the battery in the Pixel 3a XL.

Google appears to be rebranding its Visual Core to Pixel Neural Core - we are yet to see how image processing will get better with the new Snapdragon 855 chipset. Yes, that is right - Google will launch the devices with the SD855 and not the latest Plus variant.

Unfortunately, the phones will lack earbuds in the retail box - wired or wireless. However, the company is expected to launch Pixel Buds 2 at the event, if you are willing to spend more of you money on those. It appears that there also won’t be a 3.5 mm audio to USB-C cable, pushing you to use your own USB-C headphones or go for a Bluetooth solution.

The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will be announced on October 15 and there are only a few left unknowns about the phones - actual prices and whether Google will expand their market presence.

It is easy to understand. Gg wouldn't release a perfect Android phone else other oems will die or must find another Os to compete. Pixel series is just a show case of Gg algorithm and show how a minimum Android flagship should be.

Still no 256GB version or 8GB RAM. I don't care about cloud storage. Google is putting all the faith in human vanity.....
